Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

Slightly Dissapointing follow up to the 'Drums' album. Again he plays and does mosly everything on the album, but some of the songs are not as strong as on the debut. Don't get me wrong, there are still some great tunes on here, but up against the debut this falls short. |

Even if this isn't one of the best albums of the 80's it has one song that's one of the best songs i've heard in a long time and that song is: Find My Way Home. That's a really good AOR song with a great rhythm! |

This is one boring cd. I really enjoy Crown Of Thorns and Voodoo X but this shit is garbage. |

Quite a good album IMHO...this ain't AOR at all, this is more of a funk rock thing except from one song that is "Searching For A Light" which is far the best cut of the album and with an AOR feel...i agree with Jez about Jean's debut album which is more interesting than this one in some ways...some other goodies are "Standing On My Own Two Feet","Gamblin' Man","Find My Way Home" & "If Love Could Only"...a pleasant album to have anyway...89/100 ![]() |

pretty good pop album for JEAN BEAUVOIR doing his thing !the vocals are excellent and if you re into the pop culture you ll find it interesting !of course some good guitar solos here and there and a fine mid tempo like "searching for a light" is offered by Jean in this one!def one of his worst overall though,i prefer his Bare To The Bones later on |
