I Have always loved this disc. Came as a real shock at the time after listening to him in the Plasmatics. Very talented guy too, playing almost everything on the cd, and more importantly writing some great songs (which there are many on this disc).Soundwise this has a lot of similarities to Little Steven on his 'Freedom No Compromise' cd. Not that easy to get hold of now - blag at every oppertunity. |

I dont have this album but i respect him because i always have been a very big fan of him when he was kicking ass in PLASMATICS. |

i've heard that jean beauvoir played bass on some songs on kiss's animalize and also co-wrote some of it's songs. |

I knew & hung out a bit with Jean in the early 80's. He had a hard rock band back then that kicked major ass, around '81-82. Sort of a harder Journey meets Kiss. Nice guy. Helped my band out. My bass player was his sound man. His first album was really good. The 2nd didn't rock. He was good friends with Paul Stanley & they cowrote songs, etc. "Our House" rocks. |

His best album, decent tracks, ''Our House'' seems to be the best one. ''Same song playes on and on'' which is well known also from From the fire album ( i like FTF version more ) and ''Feel the heat'' (Cobra movie) are another good tunes. One filler here - ''Rockin' in the Street'' ( if you're Bob Marley fan go ahead )... GOOD album 7,5 /10 |

Wow, I feel as though I must have been litening to a different album that the posts above. From what I recall there were a few interesting (but not really what I'd call great) moments and aside from that this was complete thow-away material. I'm a big fan of Jean, but certainly not of this disc. |

This guy had truly a great song on here w/Feel the heat from the movie Cobra.Despite their are a few( like 3 actually)that were catchy but, this kinda Prince-like pop album stuff is really hard to like. Just try the Voodoo X album or Crown Of Thorns, their at least he is back where he belongs in melodic rock bliss. |

Surprised at the low price here as this is pretty hard to find. Well worth it though, as his talent shines through on these solo discs - I love "Chameleon" too - more so than on the patchy Crown of Thorns releases (except the debut). "Same Song" is easily the stand-out track on the From the Fire album, but here it fits the same high quality as the rest of this excellent & varied CD. "Rockin' in the Streets" is a little weak, but if you've an open mind and a full wallet track this down. 8.5/10. |

Saludos. |

Brilliant album!!!...a mix of Funk with Melodic Pop Rock and some AOR flavour as well...a edgy version of Prince comes to my mind ...tracks 1,2(nice),3(my all time fave)4,5(nice),7 & 10(nice) are the ones for me and probably for some others too.90/100 |
