OUTSTANDING HARD ROCK!THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE THIS VERY CLASSY ALBUM.AN ALBUM THAT WAS AHEAD OF ITS TIME BY A MILE.WELL YOU SEE THIS ALBUM HAS EVERYTHING,GREAT PRODUCTION,SUPERB VOCALS AND EXCELLENT SONGS ALL THIS COMBINED WITH A TIGHT MUSICIANSHIP AND WHAT YOU GET IS A CLASSIC ALBUM.THE PROBLEM HERE IS THAT THIS ALBUM IS VERY HARD TO FIND AND YOU WILL PROBABLY SEE YOURSELF PAYING BIG BUCKS TO SOMEONE FOR THIS.THIS ALBUM HAS ALSO BEEN RELEASED THROUGH THE REBORN CLASSICS SERIES BUT THE

This is a great album for it's time. The guitar player Rex Carroll sounds allot like George Lynch in some spots. The production is tight but I think the guitars could have been up in the mix a bit more. The singer whales like Coverdale. Not bad for 1985. I was lucky enough to find a copy of this online as my original dissapeared aound 1989. 9 out of 10 stars...............

Indeed a record worth the money. Underrated by a lot of people or even a lot of that same people don't know this stuff. Not classic, but pleasant to listen to !

This is a great album, but on CD it only came out as a boot on the Reborn Classics "label" Great cd along the lines of Holland's Little Monsters. Melodic but heavy and great, shredding guitars that sounds like Loudness, Dokken and Black n' Blue. Would be nice to see Fierce Heart released by Wounded Bird, since Mirage Records was Atlantic.

hello, thanks everybody for your support. I don't know anything about this "re-born / classics" cd re-issue except that it is most definately a bootleg. I was never consulted about it, and I am defintely NOT getting any royalty from it, so PLEASE, DO NOT BUY IT. If you need a copy, please write me at rexcarrollband.net and I'll get you one. Meanwhile, I am working on a legitimate re-release. Meanwhile, please check out whitecrossmusic.com and rexcarrollband.net for info on NEW music.

There are some power rockers on here, like 'Lions Share', 'Out For Blood' and 'Search And Destroy', which sounds very much like AC/DC doing melodic metal. Others which stand out include 'Never Gonna Cry' which could be an Eyes track for all we know, and the title track 'Fierce Heart'.

Jeeez now this is an excellent album. Right from the off it rocks, the riff for Fierce Heart is great, Heroes is a superb track and Never Gonna Cry is a mega anthem of a song with a totally killer chorus. All the songs are well written and the guitar playing is like... Gary Cooper ... superduper (Young Frankenstien haha). A much loved album. I think rycheage comes close with AC/DC does melodic rock!

I can't believe I have not commented on this one yet.I agree with Nick, what a great album. From start to finish, this is good quality melodic rock. Not really a bad song on this one except for the instrumental opener echoes.Even that one is tolerable as it is short and goes right into the title track. This one got plenty of turns in my cassette player in high school.I could not really get any of my buddies into this band for some reason.Maybe not hard rock enough. It is does have some balls however

This is a pretty good cd. The musicianship is top notch. It features guitarist Rex Carroll who later went on to form Whitecross, which I think is better than Fierce Heart. So if you like Fierce Heart check out Whitecross & see the full guitar potential of Rex's guitar skills.

first of all, thanks to everyone for their nice comments.a few things for the record though.i put fierce heart together.i also disbanded it after the first album to go solo, which has paid off immensely.rex is a talented musician, and i wish him the best.but he has no authorization to make a copy,be it c.d.or any recorded nature whether for sale or anything.i am the majority copywrite owner of the songs exept the song'echoes'.drop me a line on my site.larry{google.com.}larryelkins

This album rocks from start to finish. In terms of "sound" It was ahead for the time of recording, sound like a '89-'90 production, thanks of the abilities of the Lord-Alge Bros. Excellent songs, Larry Elkins play bass and sing (great voice!) Rex Carrol play the guitar VERY GOOD and the drums are programmed by Chris Lord-Alge and sound VERY real. The band DOESN'T sound like ACDC(ŋ?)as said above, this is AOR/HardRockin' tunes.NO fillers here.Get it if you can,you will love this album.9/10

I remember perfectly the day i bought this LP at my favourite import record shop in Paris. I was very exciting : it looked great. When I went bachome and listened to it, I said whaaaaaaaaaw : I liked it very much despite the drum sound (a little electronic) ; but the guitar and voice sounded great !

"Never Gonna Make Me Cry" is a huge favourite from this era. Great song! The sound could've been improved on this album though. Elkins had a very good voice. Some fillers here but overall an enjoyable disc.

Solid hardrock album with a slice aor touch (compared to WHITECROSS). "Never gonna cry" is one of the strongest moments on this album.

dieter the boss of schmankerl records is a magician cause he have very often some hidden treasure.since 1985 ,shame on me, i ve never heard anything about fierce heart.i don t know this band.discover this jewel last week in the new arrival cd s of schmankerl records.so i go on you tube for discovering this unknow band.i was not disapointed, what fabulous hard rock, what sound!!!receive this masterpiece yesterday.this cd is an exceptional mix of paul sabu (for the voice),fith angel, marchello and melidian.my cd is a reissue from " aor boulevard" with 3 bonus tracks.the bonus tracks are some demos.track 10 "power to rock" is a killer song but the sound is just decent.the two others bonus tracks (getting lost inside your love and bad child) are some very great songs but the sound is awful.i can add that for the 3 bonus tracks the order on the back cover of the cd is not good.aor bldv is a nice company but very amateur.they put on the market cd s with a rotten sound. (see dallas).
