Very good solo cd from ex Shotgun Messiah vocalist. Lots of guest musicians and good production. |

I haven't heard any of this album but I would like too. And what's up with 'City Boy Blues'? isn't that a song by Motley Crue? I liked Zinny's voice on the 1st Shotgun Messiah album, but he is one ugly fucker, ain't he? |

I MUST TELL YOU THAT THIS ALBUM TOTALLY ROCKS! I THINK THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN THE SHOTGUN MESSIAH ALBUMS.I WAS POSITIVELY SURPRISED |

What's the production like on this one?, is it better than any of Shotgun's stuff? |
From: Jeff | Date: February 26, 2003 at 8:48 |
The production is great and Zinny sings way better than on the Shotgun Messiah album. He have written some great songs and guitar riffs on this one. |
From: David | Date: March 8, 2003 at 7:24 |
Can you guys tell me is the guitar player half as good as Cody Harry??? |
From: Aero Force Mike | Date: May 29, 2003 at 16:20 |
An excellent album. The vocals are WAY better than his off-key shrieks on the first Shotgun Messiah album. The track Hollywood (all about life on the Strip) is such an absolute dead-ringer for Thin Lizzy it's just scary (no doubt intentional because the album's dedicated to Phil Lynott). The production's great, the guitarists are great (almost as good as Cody), but i can't think of who to compare this to. Its got a definate early 90's glam feel to it, without sounding dated. All rocking, no sap! |

I'd just like to add that Point of No Return sounds nearly identical to Violent New Breed-era Shotgun Messiah, especially on the vocals, Zinny sounds just like Skold!!! Freaky or what!?!?! |

I would be curious to hear this. The first shotgun messiah album was great. |

What an awful cover. As for the music, this is much better than Zan Clan (though still not a scratch on Shotgun Messiah) and I actually like a few of the songs here, especially 'Point of no return'. I won't call it great or essential, but it's a decent hard rock disc. Nice couple of ballads too. |

very good solo release by ZINNY ZAN and of course a hard rockin one!the sound is classic hard rock music and in some songs Zinny sounds like Phil Lynott(he tries hard to),the musicianship is ok and overall this is solid and a nice effort!some highlights are "grin n bear","love is like fire","lost generation" and "wild as a rose"!recommended |
