The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Rush CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. A decent outing, but the rap in the middle of "Roll the Bones" was embarrassing. A band like Rush should know better. Oh well, apart from that, this is another solid Rush album. Not a classic, but pleasant.

I was initially disappointed with this release. It was somewhat mellower in its soundscape, things had been taken down a notch. But over the years its revealed itself to be quite ahead of its time. Highly enjoyable for a Rush fan who wants to relax a little.

One of rush:s worst cd:s , still good of course , since all Rush albums are better than what most heavy bands can offer !

This did nothing for me. A bunch of 4-5 minute songs that prove what? That you can stack shit this high? Weak & pitiful. But the SOB's got our cash didn't they? Rush know business!

From: Knuckles Date: February 24, 2004 at 11:06
In my humble opinion, this could be ranked as a piss poor Rush album but also pick your favortie victoria secret model. Are the other ones ugly? This album should be ranked piss poor on Rush's standards, but only a handful are in that league of judgement or in other words, this would be a very solid album by anyone else.

I borrowed this one from the library, played it once, and took it straight back to the dusty shelves where it sadly belongs. Come ON! This is the band that gave us Permanent Waves! I've no problem with bands changing direction musically as long as the talent and spark remains. Even if I don't personally like the new direction! However Rush, IMHO, have wasted so much talent over the years on releases like this that I really find it hard to forgive them.

Rush continue to run on autopilot with this album. It starts off strong with the first three tracks, but the rest is a good sleeping aid. Maybe the worst album of their career. 3/10

From: Propane Date: December 3, 2004 at 12:15
An extreme disappointment on any front. Rush has gotten lazy at their song writing skills. Poor renditions.

I completely agree with the first comment here (koogles). A decent and as usual intelligent record, perhaps in compare with their old albums more simple and closer to pop rock (like the preceding "Presto" with the same producer Rupert Hine, IMO both albums are very well-produced).Overall perfect and melodic progressive rock, still high enough above the others. 85/100.
