If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Rush CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Rush are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Rush could do no wrong up until they released noxious Vapor Trails from their collective ASSES. This CD, released in '93, celebrated the Rush we know and love: a band whose progressive sensibilities were never offset by their strides towards more concise, accessible material.

In my opinion, this is THE best Rush CD this side of Moving Pictures. "Cold Fire", "Animate", "Stick It Out" and "Cut To The Chase"absolutely smoke!!! Get this now. 10/10.

Great band, but if this is their best ? Difficult to say, they've release so many great stuff. At least, they deserve a number one rating for their whole career.

Here Rush show that they can both conform and stagnate. The edge is blunted. Animate, Nobodies Hero and Everyday Glory are the highly infectious beats of Rush's Counterparts direction but the rest has either been done better previously or just shouldn't have been done at all.

el mejor album de la nueva era rush. nobodys hero, cold fire, alien shore, las mejores del disco. mejor teclado, pero en momentos cursiales. 10/10.

Best CD from their 3 phase! (Each phase consists of 4 studio and 1 live) - still a distance from their best (Moving Pictures!)

They finally remembered how to rock with this album, and also how to write some good songs. "Animate" and "Stick It Out" are excellent. 7/10

Back from the dead!!! I was struck by how good this one was. Finally got off their asses and created something worthy of themselves.

My favorite Rush album with "Power Windows" but this one was my first Rush album OMG i'm listening again since 1994 God what times! Animate & Cut To The Chase my 2 fav songs by Rush and 2 of my all time classics, thanks a lot to Rush for those Great moments in my life.

I've got to admit since Moving Pictures I lost interest in one of my fav. bands.I loved the first 6 albums and I went to every show in Chicago, if they played 5 nights in a row a the Int. Amp. I was there. After hemispheres I thought they went a little to bare bones and com. with Perm. Waves. Then Moving Pict. brought me back but since then me friend calls me tourist Rush fan, true. But this album kicks ass.More straight forward hard rock then prog rock.Excellent choice but what happened after this one. They kind of went from the Hammer of the Gods to the Nail.My fav's are the 1st 6 +Moving Pict and this one.I would like to see them hook up with this producer again,he seems to have the ear for where Rush should be going instead of the Roll the Bones,Power Windows,Vapor Trails,Presto garbage.Counterparts is highly recommended 93/100.

This is their best album in the 90's, back to their rock roots, great musicianship, another Rush winner, este es uno de mis discos favoritos de Rush, donde vuelve a destacar la guitarra de Alex Lifeson, volviendo al sonido contundente de sus inicios con un toque de modernidad. Indispensable para cualquier fan de esta banda.
