This is a really good release from the former Ambrosia singer! Stylewise it´s between AOR and Westcoast. For me the best songs are Anywhere You Go and She Don't(Come Around Anymore) who is more AOR oriented. If you like "Dakota" and "Bridge 2 Far" can I recommend this one too!

Pack's Ambrosia influences shine through on 'I Just Can't Let Go' and 'That Girl Is Gone', softer ballad based tracks. 'Do Ya' is a funkier piece while the album closer 'Just Be You' is an absolute tearjerker of a ballad. The cast of players is amazing too. Kerry Livgren, the guys from Toto, a few from Ambrosia, Michael McDonald, John Elefante, James Newton Howard, Hawk Wolinksi, Prarie Prince but to name a few.

An album certainly worth reviewing....one of Lite-AOR's finest moments featuring a wealth of keyboard layers and top-notch vocals from the former Ambrosia singer. Well worth the eBay price...The title track is a monster! 9.5/10

Mixed affair to me...best songs are great, but we have here some IMO average cuts....some songs sound's like 80's some like 70's aor, and don't like that sound at all...but for only Anywhere You Go this CD is worth the price...

Himnos como "you´re the only woman" o "biggest part of me".

Por momentos me recuerda a AOR (el grupo), especialmente con temazos como "You are the only woman". El "Anywhere you go" 6,5/10, el "The secret of movin on" 9,5/10.

Rock on!!

Beautiful, Beautiful Westcoast Lite AOR!!! Oh my God I love this Album!. A perfect mix between Westcoast and Lite AOR, so we have a very divided album, but with a smooth, nice and melodic style. It´s imposible to me to define the sensation that runs through my heart while i´m listening "Anywhere You Go" and "Won´t Let You Lose Me"... It´s simply amazing!!

Agree with most comments above!!! ,a very pleasant album of Westcoast AOR from the man behind Ambrosia (band)..a big list of talented musicians participated in this album and only for that reason makes this effort pretty necessary for us, the lovers of good music! ..."Anywhere You Go" is nice & catchy, definitively a highlight,"I Just Can't Let Go" is smooth & nice,"Won't Let You Lose Me" is another goodie one,"She Don't (Come Around Anymore)" AOR ,"Do Ya" loved it!!! with that typical 80's sound,"Prove Me Wrong" for me the best track of the album,"No Direction (No Way Home)" & "Just Be You" ends the album being a great ballad...buy!...85/100

Indeed a classy album, very high tech in places. David Pack has a truly wonderful voice that fits the compositions very well. The cd is oozing with beautiful melodies, that are very noticeable in the wonderful I just can't let go (with vocal contributions by Michael McDonald and James Ingram). Other highlights are That girl is gone and She don't (come around anymore).

Former Ambrosia singer David Pack released his debut solo album "Anywhere You Go" in 1985. It was produced by David Pack/Michael Verdick and recorded by an impressive line up of session musicians including Kerry Livgren (guitars/keyboards), Mike Porcaro (bass), Jay Winding (keyboards), Michael McDonald (backing vocals) and Jeff Porcaro (drums). The production on this recording is sharp and clean with a crystal clear sound and the music style can best be described as a very good mix of Westcoast/AOR with Hi-Tech elements. Most of the songs are strong, memorable and well-written, such as the melodic opener “Anywhere You Go” and beautiful ballad “I Just Can’t Let Go” (featuring Michael McDonald and James Ingram). Other standout tracks are the catchy mid-tempo rockers “Won’t Let You Lose Me” and “She Don’t (Come Around Anymore)”, both with great sing-along choruses and some really nice keyboard/guitar playing. “That Girl Is Gone” is a soft Westcoast style song reminding of Ambrosia/Bobby C
