The Doctor is generally considered to be the band's worst album, could be ´cos i don´t like at all, "Kiss Me Red" is good or "It's Up to You" is ok the rest sound like fillers. If you´re a die-hard/The Tricksters... 7/10

7/10 for an album with one good song, one ok and the rest are fillers?

It's definitely a product of it's era, but I quite like this album. Synthesizer heavy with plenty of dated studio effects, but there are some quite catchy and enjoyble songs. 'It's Up to you' is a cool pop rocker with an upbeat message. The chorus of 'The Doctor is very melodic and catchy; the song itself is driven by a cool loop sequence and driving guitar groove. 'Are You Lonely Tonight' is quite a jolly tune that's hard to dislike. 'The Name of the game' is another interesting melodic rocker with some interesting chord progressions and a cool vocal performance from Robin. 'Kiss me red' is one of the highlights - a memorable and sultry ballad where the layered synthesisers are displayed to great effect, and the chorus is divine. The catchy and enjoyable 'Take me to the top' follows this, featuring a stellar vocal arrangement. 'Good Girls..' is a more balls out pop rocker with sleazy lyrics. Man-u-lip-u-lator is forgettable, but 'It's only love is a great closer - a fine CT song.

Cool Power Pop/Rock album being "Kiss Me Red" the best cut of it,i think...then we have some other fine moments in tracks 1,3,4(catchy)& 10...enjoyable stuff...80/100
