The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Cheap Trick CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Cheap Trick are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Remember this one with it's bright shiny red vinyl, loved it at the time & still do. This is notable as it was the first album not to feature Tom Peterssen on bass (all played by Rick Nielsen not Jon Brant as listed). One of CT's more rocking albums and one that is chock full of great tracks. The main thing you notice on this one is the difference in Sound/Production compared to old- very Clanky (!!!) is the word I would use (if that makes any sense at all)but a great sounding album all the same. |

This is from the supposed period when the band were releasing sub-standard albums. Well if this is sub-standard it makes most other bands releases look pitiful. Some great tracks One on One, If You Want My Love, She's Tight, Looking Out for Number 1 and the off the wall I Want Be Man. Maybe not the best Cheap Trick album but well worth investigating as is practically anything they do. |

What a fantastic album. Perhaps their best. I like the album after it too, but 'One on One' is a must-have for anybody who likes Cheap Trick. |

one more thing--If 'Reach Out' had been on a band record (instead of 'Heavy Metal sntrk' it would be on this record. |

Very good album...this one along with "Next Position Please" are kinda similar in song structure even though this is more "comercial" than the "Next...".Anyway songs such as the opener "I Want You","One On One","If You Want My Love"(the hit single and the best song of the album, the poppy one then...)"Oh La La" and "Looking Out For Number One" are very enjoyable songs 2 rock to,basically the whole A side.85/100 |
