This would probably be one of their two releases (with "Busted") as their straight aor albums. Lots of outside songwriters on this one, but it was needed as their last few albums were quite patchy. "The Flame" is one of the best ballads of the era, but "Ghost Town" is no slouch either. As for the rockers, "Let Go" and "Never Had A Lot To Lose" are the best ones on here. Not classic Cheap Trick, but a good album nevertheless. 7/10 |

I agree with Big Papa K. This is not indeed classic Cheap Trick, but it is a great AOR album released in the 80's. The times were a bit cheesier, and so was the music. This was what made it all fun. "The Flame" is one of the best ballads of the time and "Ghost Town" is good too, but I really enjoyed "No Mercy" and "All We Need Is A Dream". Great, fun stuff. |

I don't like this at all and although a part of me thought the whole thing must be kept as it contains one of the best songs ever recorded, I got past that thought and had to sell it, because IMO the rest is poor ultra-lite AOR... and not that good, IMO of course. However, 'The flame' is one of the best songs I have heard, and will ever hear. Any song that I can hear a literal million times and it still gives me chills... that's what I call a good song. |

"The Flame" and "Ghost Town" were the hits that came out of this nice Cheap Trick melodic rock release along with other standart songs such as "Don't Be Cruel" and "No Mercy".The band went smoother on this album somehow but still is great 2 listen and very enjoyable.80/100 |

This is about as "80s" as Cheap Trick ever got in my opinion. Nice melodic songs reside on this disc: No Mercy, The Flame and Wrong Side of Love are worth the purchase. |
