The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Caution! This is the greatest hits not the best of.These are the radio tunes that you heard in high school Trick is an outstanding band with a huge selection of albums. 25 years and going strong. if you want the best, try heaven tonight, budakon, music for hangovers or my favorite Cheap Trick 97. You will be happy you did! |

This right line up is : Robin Zander (VC), Rick Nielsen (GTRS), Tom Peterson (B)and Bun E. Carlos (D). Cheap Trick is a great american typical hard pop rock band. |

Get this CD id only for the song I Want You to Want Me. It's the kinda' song you blast outta' the speakers while cruising down a country road on a sunny day. Wheeeee!!!! |

Jon is right. Trick are one of those bands who's "commercial" image belies there essence. Heaven Tonight, In Color, and Dream Police are classics as is the obligatory Budokan. However, try Cheap Trick (97) is an absolute ballbreaker. Full of humour, sleaze (sample lyric of 1st song "When you wanna cum, come over")Monster. Buy it. Why is there only one CT album on this site? They are the last great american hard rock band (since Aerosmith are now a pop band!!). |

the flame is "the song" on this album! |

Great songs! Sure, this package just scrapes the surface of what Cheap Trick is all about, but one cannot deny the staying power of these tracks. They still sound fresh after all these years. Their AUTHORIZED GREATEST HITS cd offers a little bit more than this, but features many live and alternate versions of the songs. Both cds are highly recommended. |

My two favorite Cheap Trick albums, ONE ON ONE and LIVE AT BUDOKAN, aren't listed here so I'll comment under this one as a catch all... Cheap Trick are a criminally ignored, phenomenally talented, fantastic band. In the 70s they took the catchiness of pop and mixed it with the heavy guitars of hard rock and punk, creating an irresistible formula. Many great songs are missing from this comp merely because they weren't "hits" but if you dig into their many albums you'll find tons of gems. |

All the songs here are generally decent, but its missing countless great songs, like "Southern Girls", "Stop This Game", and "He's A Whore". Get the Essential Cheap Trick, which includes those three and many more. |

No soy muy fan de cheap trick pero este es una buena recopilación de sus mejores temas. los temas a partir de "surrender" son las que me gustan mas. Buenas canciones con un aire a AOR. |
From: juan carlos | Date: May 29, 2006 at 17:49 |
aire a AOR en las canciones mas tranquilas, por eso me gustan las últimas canciones, siempre aclarando. 8/10 |

Great way to get to know a killer rock band or a great way to have most of their best on one easy cd. Either way you can't loose with this excellent best of by one of rocks best bands. Now granted, this is not a true best of by any means, as many classics are missing. It is however still a best of, as not one bad song can be found here. It would just take at least two discs for a true best of. A worthy addition to any collection none the less! |
