Recorded a second album with New England's Hirsh Gardner producing that was never released. Was meant to come out years later on an indie label but apparently the masters went missing? Real shame as the songs are absolutely amazing! Some tracks from the second unrelased album soon to be up for download at www.wimpwire.com

This band's second release was 'Second Excess'. (Isn't it?) I love that CD. With fat, blatant choruses and excessive back-up vocals, these guys sounded like they contracted the same disease that Y&T did on their Contagious CD!! 'Snakebite' features the biggest army of hey!s this side of 'Contagious' (the song) or Winger's 'Can't Get Enuff'. The driving 'Only Takes a Minute' is also first-rate. Absolutely top-rung German hard rock for fans of Bonfire, Casanova, Roko, Craaft (Second Honeymoon). A+

I bought the second album 'Second Excess' today. Yes, it sounds good. What do you mean that it was never released..?

with all respect, this isn't comparable with acts like casanova and bonfire. When i first saw this album i thought it was a joke, just look at the cover..the worst image ever!!But who am i? in 1988 i still had a mullet so..now about the music: it ain't exactly top stuff..Some songs are quite catchy (bad girl) others are too simple for me.No, i prefer Casanova and Boysvoice instead of this cd.The sk8board isn't looking too professional either, you can sk8 on a half-pipe with a board like that.

incredidle ! michael wagner produced this one. the product is made mainly for the german market and i guess it has no support elsewere at the time. A great one like jo jo, craaft, balanx and many other german bands of the time. Hope to find a reissue on cd soon.

Both albums feature my ex drummer Roland Schmidt, who is now working with Jeff Northrup and paul Shortino. I think that whilst both CDs now sound dated, they were very good and catchy for their time. Don't forget German fashions are always about 1 year behind UK/USA. Also, I have the video and outakes for the promo of 'Snakebite' from the 2nd CD. Fan-bloody-tastic mate!! you can still find it on the net occasionally. if you enjoyed Roland Schmidts powerhouse drumming, then check out the 1st Shor

Excellent party melodic hard rock LA style from these boyz from Germany. Very catchy songs, gang style backing vocal choruses and the the guitar is razor sharp. A must for anyones collection if your a party rocker. Rated 9/10. P.S. I hope someone can get them to release a cd of unreleased songs and live material retrospective.

Worst cover ever. As for the music, well it's a decent party rock Cd, in the tradition of the 80's. There are a few cool tunes on this, but it gets boring after a few tracks ... I mean party songs can be cool, but 10 of them is a little too much. Plus, these guys do not have the talent of Bonfire, Casanova, or other german bands of the same genre. I got it for 2$.

Cheesy it may be but these guys released two way above average albums. Excellent songwriters with a sound of their own. Real shame they split up so soon. For me both records deserve an easy 90/100. Great stuff !

I just got this in the mail today. I had a friend who bought this in 1988. I had a few songs that a recorded on to a tape somewhere. Anyway, the songs are just as cool as I remember. My cd only contains 10 tracks. It doesn't have track 8 'Rocking All Over The World'. That was one of the songs I remembered that really rocked. That's ok. I paid about $20 for it so I can't complain. Great cd. Great band. It's too bad this genre of music kind of died off. But there are so many bands out there that I

VERY GOOD CD 92/100 some "EURO PARTY METAL" fashion like BOYSVOICE/TREAT/SIC VIKKI/EMERGENCY/BIG RAT with huge B.Vocals and mega 80's trigged drum sound ! And this record is mixed by M.WAGENER himself I think it's not easy to find these days ! 1990"second excess" is more down to earth but with still a strong emphasis on "gang vocals" and Hooks

Not into this at all for some reason, been after it for years and paid abit for it but I just don't carer for it. It's got that Blue Tears thing going for it all music but the voice sucks, music is great big sounding lots of layers it's just the voice that ruins it. If your into Dalton Treat Blue Tears, all those Scadi bands you will love it me nah get the second album instead and save you're pennies on this one... KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

This is a very good release and has all the ingredients necessary to satisfy our ears 4 sure.."Feel My Body" is a very good song,a good starter then comes "Last Day Of War" which is another goodie,"Red Light Night" has a marvellous chorus and is a very good track,"Trouble In Paradise" is definitevely a highlight along with "Bad Girl" two excellent tracks,"Made For Pleasure" the album title is not a very consistent song but still is good,"Running" is another highlight and "Rocking All Over The World" has some killer chorus a song that keep us happy,"Hot Summer Night Party" is an outstanding one with that Deep Purple Joe Lynn Turner era vibe and also with some vintage keys sound,"Boys Got The Fever" continues with the happiness and "Sally" is the obligatory ballad,a perfect closing 4 sure...a enjoyable album with nice chorus and catchy songs, buy it!.90/100

This band and this album are not exactly shining examples of greatness, but they were fun and their music enjoyable. Yes the cover to this album sucked big style (what did they think they were wearing?), but the music is fun, high energy Euro rock. Some catchy tunes on both their albums (what is this rubbish about second album being unreleased?). There is a new album coming in November 2017, but the only member of the band to actually come back is the guitarist, so it's not really a reunion.

excellent commercial hard rock release for VICE with Michael Wagener in production achieving a massive guitar driven sound that will satisfy everybody!the songwriting is very good but not exceptional with songs like "red light night" , the WHITESNAKE-esque "made for pleasure" and"feel my body"!highly recommended for sure
