This is a very good band and I hope to see their last CD on this site too one day soon, the s/t release from 1998. That's a good solid melodic hard rock disc, and so is this. This is a good CD, but just not great IMO. 'Taste the difference' is clearly the best thing these guys did and that CD is essential. This is good solid melodic hard rock though... but man do I hate that saxaphone! Good disc.

From: M. Allen Date: March 21, 2005 at 11:39
Listen, all you melodic hard rock bands out there, SEX goes good with rock music, SAX does not! But that's not this group's only problem. The keys over-dominate and the guitars are completely castrated by the too-slick production. Melodic rock fans who like it safe may find something to appreciate here, as the hooks are fairly catchy and the harmony vocals nicely done, but the band lacks anything remotely resembling an edge. Forget about this one and continue dreaming of better bands...

sorry to m allen.but this is a very good cd not as strong as taste the differnence but with enough strong hooks and melodies for anyone who loves this site and a person who is still proud to call themselves a rocker in 2005.

Brilliant album!!!..catchy and melodic songs all around ..best tracks:"Frontline" rocks,an excellent starter,"Light Of The Night" AOR at its best!,one of the highlights of the album,"Hear You Cry","Wheels Keep On Turning" nice ballad ,"Preacher" amazing AOR,another killer shot!,"Tonight" & "Rock It Up" this one has a very attractive saxophone part(well done Andy Weber!..i've always fancied songs with saxes in it )...in general lines,a must have release!!!.93/100

From: hair metal again Date: September 21, 2017 at 2:09
excellent release for SUBWAY and one of the best of the Herman hard rock scene of the 90 s ,with a very nice balance of keys and guitars and a unique use of saxophone here and there!the vocals are sensational indeed ,the guitar work very good and the songwriting very consistent with many hooks and lines!"hear you cry","hold on to your dreams" and "frontline" the highlights of this highly recommended gem
