Prism???????? This ain't Prism -- it's johnny-come-lately, Henry Small surrounded by hired guns after he and management sacked the remaining original members... To call it Prism is a complete joke...

Ok, this may not be the "real" Prism, but musically, this album is awesome and one of the top 10 AOR albums of all time IMHO!!!

Great record, this new release, but I have to add that Axelinger is right, the real Prism is another and also very fine band ! Check them out as their first and 'See Forever Eyes' are out again, digitally remastered !

The old school PRISM is better. They were Canada's answer to Supertramp! Please see my other review for PRISM's album SMALL CHANGE for information on Ron Tabak!!!!

This is some of the better pomp AOR. Heavy comparisons to LeRoux, 707, and Shooting Star. Excellent. I highly recommend this.

This is NOT prism. This is crap. Even the band don't consider this a prism CD. This is nothing but a Henry Small solo record

It might be an ok CD but to use the name prism makes it into a crap CD

Prism does not associate themselves with this CD. This is totaly a Henry Small effort. But listening to the Cd it is still a great masterpiece. Henry Small should had released this as a solo effort and used his name and not Prism's. But no matter what monkier was used this is still great Canadian rock!! 10/10

Most of these comments proves that many times peoples opinions and comments about albums are based on wrong reasons and personal stuff. Like in this case, it's not the music on the disc, which in my opinion is just as good as a LOT of praised albums here...even better than some...it's the "name" on the cover it's judged by. *sigh* Make a note and then comment on the music, please. People are here looking for good music, not to be fanboys. Then this is a great Henry Small album. So what!!!

Yes Figge, you´re right on this one, it´s one of the best classic aor abums ever made and I rate it as high as Journey, Foreigner, I-Ten, Preview, Prototype, Spys just to name a few. Who cares what name is on the front cover? The music is wonderful!!!

I used to listen to Prism quite a bit back in the day. Just got this disc today and I must say this is good stuff. These guys are way talented. This should be part of your AOR collection. Just my two cents.

Prism, have always disowned this as a Prism release! This was Henry Small's solo project using the Prism name!!

True, true - but it's still a good album. Al Harlow has pretty much done the same thing with the Prism name on Big Black Sky, but I suppose he has a little bit more of a claim to the name than Mr Small did.

The original members had already left by the time the 'Beat Street' album was being recorded. Bruce Allen (manager) owned the name and a new band was built around me. Again, I never had the legal rights, that was the property of Bruce Allen. For some reason, I was blamed for stealing the name which is humorous because some of the original members still tour under the original name Prism. An AOR classic. The bonus numbers are good as well especially "Japanese Girl" and "Breakin' Away" which are brilliant AOR tracks!!

YES THIS IS A GREAT RELEASE FROM PRISM WITH THE SINGER,S SECOND LP WITH THE BAND. MELODIC ROCK WITH SEVERAL SONGS THAT WHALE(JAM). I,VE ALWAYS ENJOYED THESE GUYS. CANADIAN ROCKERS THAT WERE UNDERRATED BY THE PUBLIC. WHAT A SHAME THEY DESERVED MORE FAME.
