This one is great, I really dig it... Just when you think it's all out AOR, it's Hard Rock. Either way I enjoy it. 'Night After Night' is a cathy track too, give it a couple of tries, not to mention a couple of great ballads. This a tough release to find, so if you see it, by all means get it!!!

From: RNL Date: September 22, 2003 at 19:16
This is a SOLID outing, great songwriting. Really well done. The remake of Green Eyed Lady ROCKS!!

Yeah, this is one that really defines what big indies are made of... Sounds better than just about any other AOR CD around (indie or not) and is as rare as it gets. Spiced Ice is a killer group man, and this Gem from 1990 kicks some serious ass as far as AOR/Hard Rock goes. I think this disc puts Hotboy's 'Barely Legal' or Surrender's S/T to shame, even though I like both of these other bands I speak of a lot... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! A 10!!!

Yeah, I'm commenting on this one again. Just love this CD as far as AOR/Hard Rock. Basically, IT KICKS ASS!!! Shoulda been something!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Check it out!

I saw this band many times on the central coast of cali. when this stuff was new!!!!! This singer is BADASS LIVE AS WELL. This guy should be in the ranks of plant, jagger, and his personal favorite Rogers. This guitarist just rips it up and the sound is INSANE. A must for all collections.

From: TheRipper Date: October 16, 2003 at 3:50
Joepro, what part of California you from? I was living in the Central Coast then to, Monterey, Santa Barbara? Where do you speak of? This makes sense, as I have loved this band for a long time and it seemed to be an extinct CD altogether but yet I've found more than one, was printed not far from where I live. The key is finding the whole catalog of this microscopic rock label; S.S. Records of that time. Yeah, and I agree about Troy, what a singer man, just KILLER!!!

From: bransonlady Date: December 27, 2003 at 1:22
At this time DBS records is not carring the disc. But you can find it on ebay from time to time along with, some never released CD demos and ruff mix insturmentals and songs.

From: anamal Date: December 29, 2003 at 19:42

I was an original member and co-writer and producer of this album. Ed and I have ended up in Missouri, and still (12 miles away)remember much of the wild and wonderful times.ask ed if the slide show is available for reproduction or..a visit! it is quite a little story about our birth thru the present. He in Belgium, leo in Germany. Why did I wear a glove on the left hand all these years? truly, The Glove

Man,Ill tell you what a surprise this one was.Definately worth every cent.A indie release that has it all and a much more.Listed on this site as AOR but this is definately more of a hard/melodic rock.A+++ Don't hesitate on this one!!!

Sometimes coming off like a low-bandwidth version of mid 80s Prophet (especially on 'Looking for Love'), it took me a few listens to fully get into SPICED ICE. After about the third time, I started to hear the KK Wilde comparisons, and yes, they're valid. A decent indie with a good bar-room glam sound on 'Big Stick' and 'Green Eyed Lady'. On other tracks, it's more straight-forward hard rock/AOR. Thanks, Eddy, for hooking me up with this rare CD.

From: ooten Date: March 18, 2004 at 22:13
I'm glad I won this on Ebay for less than the $90.00.

From: oliver Date: March 29, 2004 at 18:31
Yes, a very good melodic rock release. But not worth paying 100$ or more. buy a Boulevard or Diving For Pearls for much less money and you´ve bought a better cd. fine, catchy AOR, but at this price only for die hard collectors.

From: the game Date: April 29, 2005 at 14:01
This CD is a very good AOR/Melodic Hard Rock release. The excellent Hardway starts things off on great style. Night After Night is killer and catchy. Pretty Is is also a very good Hard Rock song. Spiced Ice's version of Green Eyed Lady is awesome. There are a few fillers but still a good CD to pick up. I have to agree with Oliver above as this CD, even though rare is not worth the E-bay $$$. I rate this CD 7.5/10.

these guys rock, to bad it took this long to reach everyone i grew up in the area where these guys lived there all friends of mine from yrs ago and all of them were the premier musicians of the central coast. it was a very talented area alot of excelllent musicians i have 2 copies of the album and a single from another band eddy was in the tim jackson band if you can, get it and enjoy it, and man o man i think back. what a great bunch of guys to party with.anyway who cares about that the music s

Wow, I hate to be the stick in the mud but I thought this sucked. I have been after this for literally a decade, finally heard a copy and doubt I'll ever hear it again. The first track is great, and 'Together forever' is a decent ballad. Of the rest, 'When you look at me that way' is the worst hard rock song I've ever heard and the rest, IMO, is 100% blatant filler. Sorry guys, I'm not into this one at all.

From: Jerry_The_Dog Date: March 22, 2006 at 4:38
It's been so long since we made this. I really didn't expect that it'd be selling on ebay for almost $200. It's really surprizing to see that our little local band could be this popular after so many years. Thanks a lot of the support.

From: sanxdowntherainbow Date: December 12, 2006 at 18:04
Great news!! Dont pay that much for this cd!! It has been officialy re-issued bye Retrospect Records this year, and could be find on its website www.retrospectrecords.com for $9.99

From: Mike Hamburg Date: February 26, 2007 at 23:19
It's about time Eddy ;-) Just saw the Retrospect site...what is this song 11 bonus track? B+tch...it is one I don't have on my 3 copies! Probably heard it live at the Rose and Crown, the Darkroom or out at Sweet Springs in a drunken haze....Just gotta say, this CD is always in my disc changer for road trips...for over 15 years now. A MUST for all true rock fans...get a copy now people. Troy, see ya in about a month...we will be at Aerosmith at the Paso fair grounds this summer. Jerry, Joe, Leo,

Cool album cover art but the music itself isn't that good. Has some great melodic moments like "Looking For Love" and "Pretty Is" but this is generally average and bland.
