Production is out of this world, "Tough Enough" will blow you away if "Kiss Me in French" doesn't do it first. I overlooked this CD for many years, now I have bruise marks on my shins for kicking myself. You won't go wrong with this explosive release! Fans of Winger, Trouble Tribe, Kane Roberts (Saints and Sinners), etc. are strongly encouraged to check this out!!

Pop-metal so good, it could wake you up from a stone-cold coma. Had this album been released three years earlier, it would have been a huge hit of the hair-metal era, thanks to unbelievably-catchy, hook-driven songs like "Her Body Compliments the Beat" and "I Don't Want No Body But Yours." If you haven't heard this band, then all it will take is one listen to have you talking about it for days to come. No matter what language you speak, this is killer melodic hard rock.

Indeed an overlooked piece of work (light AOR), but very good and catchy. Worth checking out ! And it's not scandinavian, I believe it's canadian !

And yet again the person with the self claimed best opinion in rock makes a commend and the rating of the certain band goes down by 20%.Listen my friend, everyone is entitled to his opinion but u can't force your opinion by voting lots of times to lower a rating. And at the end of the day don't you have something better to do with your life?Paliomalaka. I AM ASKING THE ADMINISTRATOR IF HE CAN TREAT PEOPLE LIKE freddy AND ALLOW ONLY ONE VOTE simply by using some kind of "cookie".It's very annoying!

Sic vikki exceeded all my expectation they are that good. Great songs like tough enough, her body compliments the beat and the monster ballad you make me bleed. Great production and melodies make this an essential melodic aor release. Jay from Australia.

Sic Vikki hailed from the Philadelphia PA area in the USA. They took the east coast by storm in the early to mid 90's. The lead singers name is Rich Cox. Those who had the chance to see them live were lucky. They also released a second CD called Street side Picasso although much more mellow then the first still kicked butt.

Sic Vikki scandinavian??? Hmmm somebody needs to go back to school...Especially the geography lessons! I guess this release is considered a rarity more or less...Well I was kinda lucky when I got mine...Found it at a convenience store for appr. 2 dollars...Regarding the music it's good but really not that superior...Overall the album suffers from a way too polished sound in which the otherwise great tunes seem to drown...Too bad! Worth a listen though for quality hardrock!

i always thought this album was lots of fun..It reminded me alot of autograph but that's where Steve Plunkett comes in. Some excellent songwriting on this cd and i can recommend it to anybody. I have their second cd too and the opener of that album 'from my window' is one of my alltime favorite rocktunes.I wonder where all the members have been..? batcave777@hotmail.com

Kiss me in French owed so much of its sound to Autograph but its hardly surprising with Steve Plunkett being involved. Absolutely fantastic melodic rock with some extremely catchy tune....shame their second album (Streetside Picasso) couldnt live up to the debut!

These guys sound to me like a mix of 2 parts Winger, 1 part Danger Danger and a touch of Lita Ford (yeah you read that right) IMHO. There isn't a bad song here, maybe a tad on the light side of hard rock but still a great album.

I received this cd as a gift about a year ago and wished I had known about them in 93. Every song rocked except the customary ballad Cry. Kiss Me In French, Tie Me Up, and Baby Talks Dirty are favorites. Excellent "Road Music", this is the kind of cd you pop in, take the top down and take a long drive with. Very TIGHT music!!!

A great melodic hard rock album. The opening duo of 'Kiss Me In French' and 'Tough Enough' showcase their undoubted ability in the first six minutes. 'Damage Is Done' is emotion drenched melodia only bands like this can pull off. 'Baby Talks Dirty' moves into Autograph territory effortlessly. The ballad 'You Make Me Bleed' is one we've heard a thousand times before, though a thousand and one times ain't gonna hurt. Great stuff....

This is a great melodic / commercial hard rock CD and much better than what followed. My favourite track is the brilliant 'Stop breaking my heart' - melodic perfection. Overall I wouldn't rate it quite as high as the majority here, but it is a very good melodic hard rock release either way.

I like Kiss Me In French most I think. That was such a classic song title the song just had to be great too, and it is. Trying to stack up my favorites in order here is next to impossible, because I like all the songs equaly almost. I'll take a stab in track order: 1,6,3,9,7,10,2,4,5,8. Heh. I really like track 8 too. This is really easy to rate. 10/10

Not a classic in my opinion but i think that FIREHOUSE or BON JOVI fans will like this cd. Not very strong songs and over-rated in many ways. Buy the 80s URIAH HEEP or NAZARETH albums, at least does rocks in a hard way. This not. still not bad.

Very Good Melodic Hard Rock, muy bueno donde se pueden encontrar similitudes a bandas como Danger Danger, Trixter, Autograph con ese estilo fiestero y comercial que por mi parte comparandolo con bandas con estilo mas serio y misterioso estan a un peldaño mas abajo quiza por eso no me emocionen tanto bandas asi o como dice Champions Wall Of Silence y Sure Conviction o algo de Harem Scarem aunque no me parece algo redondo tiene grandes cortes y otros buenos Vale la Pena 8.5/10

Great album!!!...if you like Danger Danger(really close sound) & Blue Tears then Sic Vikki is 4 ya!!!...top notch album that delivers excellent hooks and riffs plus an energetic vocalist,Mr Rich Kox,the right man 4 these kind of songs... ,"Kiss Me in French" with that little seductive intro of the woman saying "parlez-vous franÇais?" is a starter,"Tough Enough" is an excellent one,"Baby Talks Dirty" is a goodie one,"You make Me Bleed" is a wonderful ballad!,"Tie Me Up" rocks and also has a catchy chorus,"Her Body Compliments The Beat" AOR influence ,"Damage Is Done" another monster ballad,"Stop Breakin' My Heart" also AOR influence & "Cry" is just an amazing acoustic track..for me it ends the album the correct way...agree with all the great comments above...96/100

Very good 80's US commercial hard rock with every song sticking in your head. A couple of excellent slower songs in "Her body compliments the beat" & "Damage is done" plus good upbeat numbers with singalong choruses like "Tough Enough", "Baby talks dirty", & "Stop breaking my broken heart". For fans of Danger Danger, Firehouse etc
