These guys aren't too bad. I wasn't sure if they were worth the hype so I bought the lp first and there are some catchy tunes here if AOR with keys is what you like.

From: freddy de keyze Date: December 2, 2002 at 4:06
These guys are certainly worth the hype. Great, heavy AOR, full in your face, with nice keys !! Not a classic, but very close and recommended to every classic AOR fan !

From: Mark Date: December 14, 2002 at 21:39
C'mon guys , this is for sure a classic - if you are into AOR you just got to get this baby , simple as that.

These guys are excellent, they have a second CD that you might be able to get a copy from the guitar player. E-mail if interested. the 2nd album is awesome too. well worth the investment. special guest stars on lead guitar Jimmy Lyons of Eddie Money Fame! and Bass Player Glenn Letsch of Montrose/Trower Fame! These are great songs, Great Band!!!!!!! Hard hitting great AOR ! A must have !

From: ROB GARCIA Date: February 2, 2004 at 15:52
good album but in my opinion, not essential.this guys remind me of survivor mixed with white heat.this is a good addition to your collection but this is far from being a classic...simply a good aor album.

From: Rycheage Date: April 21, 2004 at 23:30
These guys are in that same territory played by Diving For Pearls, though probably just lacking the finesse of those guys, but playing in a more upbeat and hard rockin' style. Most of the songs evident on this album are very bombastic, with the drums pounding away whilst providing cover for a three pronged guitar attack and a smattering of keyboard runs. The best moments would have to be 'Hold On Tight', the superb 'Restless', or the guitar solo laced 'Love The Hard Way'. Good, but not classic.

From: Rik Date: August 24, 2004 at 12:04
Have to agree with AOR freaky. Very well done album indeed. Maybe not a classic but essentiAL for the collection if you love hard hitting AOR. cheers

From: Rik Date: August 24, 2004 at 12:16
PS Gotta love the guitar solo in Love the hard way. Cool ! Maybe it is a classic after all.......

From: Rik Date: August 24, 2004 at 12:21
Listen to Restless. Goooood ! Ok if a classic album is a 10 mmmm then this is a 9 easily !

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: March 10, 2005 at 23:32
Not a Classic or Great album but is good, no esta mal un album promedio desde mi punto de vista, Restless sin duda el mejor tema, muy en onda Walk on Fire o Diving for pearls por poner 2 ejemplos aunque no tan buenos como estos, como que le faltan temas mas contundentes y que te dejen huella, en realidad esperaba mas por tan buenos comentarios 7/10.

From: z4roxx Date: November 24, 2005 at 11:42
What a great band, really the first one who remind me to Bad English.Highly recommended if you like the genre.9,5/10

From: Erik Date: November 24, 2005 at 11:46
Not a 9,5 IMO but i really like this band also Andrea. Do you have their second album Wrecked, Welded and Wet already ? It just as good !

From: z4roxx Date: November 24, 2005 at 11:53
Yes Erik, got the second cd but I didn t have the time to listen to it yet,but the first track seemd awesome...For me Work Force are among my fave bands!

From: Geoff Date: August 15, 2006 at 2:56
This one's pretty good. 'One more tomorrow' is great, and I think it is 'Hold on tight' that steals the show for me. Excellent melodic rockers, those 2, and the album's really quite good overall. Better than I was expecting, as I didn't expect much... for whatever reason. Very good.

From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: June 8, 2009 at 5:24
VERY GOOD ALBUM 82/100 KEYBOARDS driven Hi-tech AOR with some POMP inluences ! Like WORRALL/WRABIT/BLVD/THE HUNT/BEAU GESTE/BYSTANDER recommended but still not a classic !

From: rick kerch vzla Date: June 3, 2011 at 20:49
For me this album is simply great!!!...loved it all...nice and catchy AOR songs backed up with a splendid singer(Ron Kimball) favourite track is "Hold On Tight" but obviously there are other "likeables" such as "I'm A Mess","Restless","Love The Hard Way"(rocks!),"One More Tomorrow" & "Higher Standart"...recommended album by all means...95/100

From: hair metal again Date: March 19, 2014 at 15:05
very fine debut by WORK FORCE with nice balance between keys and guitars and excellent vocals!the songs are ok but not great and overall this one i feel that could be much better!"hold on tight",'i m a mess" and "restless" are the highlights!if you re into bands like SURVIVOR,THE STORM or mid 80 s BAD COMPANY you should grab it asap!

From: nimzo Date: November 27, 2015 at 11:23
Great CCM AOR in the vein of bands like Walk con fire. Very good voice of Kimball with great keyboards and chorus. This cd is essential for christian aor lovers. The best tracks here are "Hold on tight", the awesome "Restless", "Rockin' to the win" and the precious "One more tomorrow". For me 90/100. Get it!
