I really enjoyed the Bulletboys first 2 releases, and actually liked Za-Za pretty well too...with that being said, let the warning go out...this CD is freaking HORRID!I usually try to purposely drop my expectations when a band I liked from the 80s/90s releases a new CD these days, so that I'm not TOO disappointed by it,but no matter how I listen to this one,IT SUCKS! Terrible production, terrible mix, & terrible songs. Tracks 1,2,4,& 9 are the only listenable songs here, and they're not too good!

The guys also belt out one of the worst covers of the Kinks' "All Day and All of the Night" that you'll ever hear....do not shell out your hard earned bucks on this one folks, grab the new Y&T disc, or check out the recently released Snake Ryder CD instead. Arggghhhh!

I have not heard this yet but so far just the album title and cover picture of a dog's face kind of scare me off.

From: Christine Date: December 24, 2003 at 18:18
Yeah, the Boys lost me after Za-Za, and put on a crappy, disorganized show the last time I saw them - seemed to me that Marq was trying real hard to look like another Mark (McGrath). Plus, whoever their bassist was at the time was a total scumbag - tried to get a bunch of us girls to join him in the ladies' room. ICK!!! Think I'll probably skip this one and take Whiplash's advice on Y&T - can't go wrong there!

From: MJ (Marla) Date: December 25, 2003 at 3:06
Ditto on just about everything Whiplash had to say.......with the exception that IMO.....none of the tracks are listenable.....ack. I really, REALLY wanted to like this one. But I just don't.

Cool to see that the B Boys are Back. Well, in fact Mark Torien is back, because he's the only original member left.it's a shame because i liked the guitarist style, the bassist groove and the drummer pounding, but hey, there's still Mr Torien Pure Rock N' Roll voice.Bluesy but powerful, sometimes emotional and also nasty when the song need it. "Sophie" is the name of Torien's dog, i think that's funny to use a pic of his dog for a album cover Two thumbs up!!

Yeah I admit production is not the best, but alot of the songs are good, not all in the same vein as previous Bulletboys songs but hey we all have to change and grow. Songs like Neighbourhood, Lizard are great. Worth a buy if you have an open mind

From: Idol1 Date: January 18, 2004 at 16:14
Sophie rocks! If you are a fan of the first two BB's releases you will like this one just as much. Songs like Kiss the Lizard, Neighborhood, Walls, Outta Here, Shake Me Awake and Stoned Staley are all right up there with some of their best work. Not sure who is in the band other than Marq right now but Sophie is still one of their finest moments. Give this cd a listen you wont be dissappointed!

This cd is a great bulletboys cd. All the songs are great songs, it would be easier to say which tracks were not that good than which tracks are great. The worst songs are 4,6 & 10, but even those tracks are likeable. Overall a great cd for everyone & for us bulletboys fans.

Dan, you can order it directly from their website at: http://www.bulletboysrecords.com/

Yeah!! Thanks for the info! Going to make some order

The style is loose, raw and in your face – which is fine – but the quality of the recording or overall sound is well below average. At times it sounds too loud and a little distorted and the mix can sound pretty muddy in places. It makes it very hard to appreciate the song themselves. And at a little over 32 minutes in running time, the value for the buck comes into question.

From: Dave Date: June 14, 2004 at 20:57
It's time to hang up the microphone, put the guitars away in their cases and pack up the drums and look for something else to do in life because you are just wasting everyones time. There are some great bands around that can't get a record deal and maybe you could make way for one of them!

From: Chad Date: September 25, 2004 at 0:40
Stear Clear! This is NOT BulletBoys. Stick to the first three albums. This sucks, pure and simple. Waste of my $$.

From: Christine Date: September 27, 2004 at 0:20
Seems like this album's only redeeming quality is Marq's cute puppy on the cover! :P

From: Propane Date: December 3, 2004 at 23:46
This little stinker hurt my ears, and that hasn't happened in quite awhile. Terrible mess we have here. Retirement is the only option, just like Dave points out.

From: Geoff Date: December 4, 2004 at 23:01
Just a different opinion here... while I don't think this album is a gem of sorts, and I much prefer the s/t and 'Za Za', I do actually think this is a pretty decent CD. It won't be one I play often and is - as I said - not brilliant, but it's a good effort and some pretty cool songs with some cool hooks. I prefer it over 'Freakshow' (except 'Good girl') and if you're a fan of the band's previous work, give it a go. Good stuff.

From: Slikk Vikk Date: December 22, 2004 at 4:41
Real grower....underated album that will no doubt be ignored by most. Great f**king songs....production is a bit crappy, but hey its an Indie FFS....\m/

From: ninjapeter Date: March 28, 2005 at 6:06
I agree with Whiplash, horrible album, yuck! Get Y&T and Snakeryder instead.

From: Bill Date: April 29, 2005 at 10:52
Does this album have any bandmates? Sounds like SHIT. I saw B-boys in Hartford CT. They played three songs and quit. One song for each person in crowd. Thank the Lord I got in for free. The only one who was original was Marq. Wow, have another cheeseburger fatass. Advice- Get the orig. B-boys. Play a full set. Stop acting like you guys were as famous as the big bands you humps backed up. Call 1-800-jennycrg Marq- GET IT TOGETHER. So sad.

From: headbanger4life Date: June 1, 2006 at 6:59
Too bad I never seen all the write-ups for this one before I bought a copy. Wish I could get my many back. These guys have just gone down hill in my book. I loved their debut and Freakshow was alright, but that I kept forcing myself to listen and like everything else after that. I'm done with these guys.

Good and decent album by the Bullets."Kiss the Lizard" rocks off as a hell of a piece glam song. For me is in the same line as "Za Za",am i wrong?.7/10

From: ghettonation73 Date: August 30, 2009 at 8:54
I'm glad I haven't gotten any cd past the First 3.

From: hair metal again Date: July 14, 2010 at 8:38
strange release by the BULLETBOYS.half of the songs like "kiss the lizzard","neighborhood","can i show you" have the right sound and attitude and the rest like "stoned staley","amazing" or "outta here" are so modern and forgettable.overall this aint bad,but not essential at any means and surely not in the same level as early releases
