I may be having a teary eyed reunion with the "Bullet Boy" as with the price of admission for this show next month it comes out to about a BUCK a band. Last time I saw this band live was in the late 90's at a hole in the wall club called "Brick by Brick" in San Diego. I remember the bassist L. Vencent almost plowing me over coming off stage with maximum Bad-i-tude. I get a kick out of delusional egos 15-20 years past their 15 min of fame glory days. Torien looked/acts "flaming" as he was wearing some kind of George Micheal velvet zip up jump suit. The band sounded rough that night with the low light of the performance being a Blink 182 cover. Now on to Elefante' as if you look at the reviews on Amazon,( mostly 5 stars) , but so is David Hasselhoff Night Rocker, so Amazon is irrelevant, w/ paid trolls, friends/family of the band. On to Elefante' Torien is the sole surviving Bullet "Boy", as it's no secret this band has been on empty since "Za Za" (1993). The band couldn't even release a decent production quality best of cd. This one has a 90's "post grunge rock flavor, but there's no "sound" connection to the first 2 B.B. albums. |

I'd go for Little Caesar, Junkyard, DToys and MAYBE L.A. Guns, but it ain't worth the airfare or the other bands, most of whom I liked 25 years ago (some of them a lot!), but ... I'm over 'em. What have they done for me lately? Not too damn much. |

I kind of like this album, it's nowhere near the excellence of their debut, but it's not bad. "Kin Folk" is my favorite track. |
