If you notice that a particular Bulletboys CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Just like many other established hard rock bands of the late '80s and early '90s, Bulletboys jumped onto the grunge bandwagon with this one... and they went whole hog. It got very little distribution and is extremely tough to find... thank God for small favors...

From: PRESTON LEE Date: January 25, 2002 at 16:25
VERY DIVERSE ALBUM, A DEPATURE FROM THERE PREVIOUS 3 ALBUMS. THE BB'S HAD THE BALLS TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT & THE ALBUM RISES TO THE OCASION AFTER A FEW SPINS. 8 OUT OF TEN FOR ACID MONKEY.

From: TIM Date: June 2, 2002 at 12:15
I agree with Dan. Don't waste your money on this one. These guys got worse with each album as others have mentioned. I hated this one.

From: oldyett Date: June 19, 2002 at 0:12
my band recently opened for these guys at a club in my hometown, advance ticket sales of 34, the band washed their hair in the women's room sink while we played, how the mighty have fallen..........

From: dokken6008 Date: June 27, 2002 at 7:19
I cover on 'Acid Monkey' is telepathically screaming "Kill me!! Kill me!!!!" I never liked these guys anyhow and they stoop to the grunge level? I guess you can't be too surprised with a bunch of VH posers. That didn't work out for them and these dumb-asses think that anyone is going to give a fuck about the "Bulletboys" doing grunge? Also notice that much like most other grunge albums, the band even went so far to give all their songs ONE-WORD titles--that is very telling, IMO.

GRUNGE'S DEAD!!

From: STRETCH!! Date: June 21, 2003 at 20:23
I agree w/ these comments..the first CD-- was cool..'Smooth Up In Ya' rocked.they just got worse as they went...and (like everyone in that era)--they all chopped off thier hair..is there anyone out there..(besides me)..who still HAS the hair...!?

From: ManSonFan Date: July 16, 2003 at 15:50
The First album is fuckin great, its heavier then any of the other radio bullshit at that time and It sounds nothing like VH cause VH sucks ass without Diamond Dave. ZaZa was also pretty cool, it has a more polished sound and I found it to be well produced. Mark Torien can be found on a Motley Crue tribute called "Shout at the Remix" along with other members of other 80's bands. Check out www.otepsaves.com, this is the revolution...........

This album sucked!! Poor production and uncatchy tunes. I'm with oldyett, my band opened for this bunch of sad-sacks 4 times in the latter part of '95 in 800 seater clubs and sad as I am to say it...we received a better reception than them. How the mighty have fallen indeed!!

From: David Date: October 15, 2003 at 9:59
The biggest load of garbage I've ever heard! I just don't understand this kind of music, It rates along side the likes of Shotgun Messiah's Violet New Breed, Sven Gali's Inwire & Lynch Mob's Smoke This.

From: steve Date: January 30, 2004 at 20:29
this album is going to released again, and i look forward to hearing it. and to the guy who doesnt "understand" shotgun messiah violent new breed...whats to understand?? it rocks and it sounds good...

From: Dan Friml Date: March 26, 2004 at 8:42
I don't think this CD is grunge. It's a little bit more alternative, but definitely not grunge. Not their best, but I've heard many worse albums than this one. 5 out of 10.

From: Propane Date: December 3, 2004 at 23:41
I listened to this because I still held out hope. The only problem was, I couldn't get through it before chucking it. Grunge IS the operative word here.

From: Cotton C. Lover Date: April 3, 2005 at 4:49
I think Kim said it best in the second post. Do I need to say more?

From: ninjapeter Date: July 6, 2005 at 19:08
I think cotton and Kim need to give the first three albums another chance because they are good ones. Feel the attitude and swagger of them. After those first ones they fell from grace though.
