Highly overrated. Not bad but not worth the hype.

From: TIM Date: December 1, 2002 at 0:04
The rating was too generous.

From: TheRipper Date: December 1, 2002 at 0:06
I disagree, I got this and I am very glad I did! Tim, try the song 'Vulture' let it play through a couple of times, not to metion the title track, and the great ballad 'Winds of Fire'... Maybe it's just not your bag, but I recommend it highly, very cool stuff here.

It's okay, but not worth the comparisons of Jillson and Heartless. These guys are nowhere near as good and certainly not better.

From: David Date: December 29, 2002 at 7:54
Do any of you locals know how much this one goes for? I suspect alot!

From: TIM Date: December 29, 2002 at 16:17
I think around $50. It's hard to tell since the last seller used 'buy it now' on the two recent ones sold. He lives right next to the area these guys and Hot Boy are from.

Oh my, I must have this CD. It sounds like a northwest style of music. Almost like a Vancouver, or Portland based band. My phsycic connected me to a Song about trees. Does Diamond Edge do a song about trees?

I've heard this disk. It's very polished. This band was rough but pretty good as a trio in the eighties. Unfortunately this CD does not show what an excellent guitarist Larry Sawyer was and still is I'm sure. I miss the early Diamond Edge. Later

I saw these guys in around 1988. I remember the bass player was this big guy who wore a hat. They were a three piece band. I seem to remember that the bass player and drummer did this rolling bass/drums sort of jam thing that was very cool. The guitarist was very good in a classical sense. Together they had a sort of Deep Purple type of sound. I would pay today to see that band. They were unusual when all the hair bands sounded alike.

From: Mr Happy Date: May 7, 2004 at 15:43
Yeah. I remember seeing that version of Diamond Edge. That original bass player quit early on. I even heard that he later became a priest or something like that. Later members of Diamond Edge were more typical metal type guys and the band's sound rflected it. This CD is very typical for the hard rock of the day. Take it easy.

I actually enjoyed this one i give it 7/10.

From: juan carlos Date: November 1, 2010 at 15:07
"Head Above Water" is a good opener with cool riffs, "Shadows in the Rain" is a monotonous Acoustic track àla Geof Tatte on vocals, "Once Again" cool riffs with a bit pomp choruses, "Wind of Fire" Good Melodic-Acoustic ballad , "Vulture" yep is a cool Melodic HardRock song and my favorite track here, catchy choruses!, "Spots So Blue" cool choruses but it's a filler imo. Good Mini-Album 8/10

From: z4roxx Date: November 2, 2010 at 15:42
Took this one from one of the band many years ago.He also sent me unreleased demo material(very good, too). This is one of the few indies I'll never sell, that's excellent music.

This CD is selling for $300 on Amazon... I wish that people in today's market place wouldn't take advantage of my generations love of hard rock. I had the Black Roses soundtrack and Princess Pang's album on cassette when I was in high school and would love to own them again on CD, but at the rates they go for I'll never own them again unless I stumble across them at Goodwill.

From: Doug Date: September 25, 2014 at 15:17
Man, that is just crazy! $300?! I'm with 'ya on that one.
