The Rock City Angels were called Delta Rebels in their early times in LA. They recorded a song in the Scream Club Compilation with this name (Delta Boys: "Teenage Lipstick Girls") Who are this Delta Rebels??????????

Major Lebel. Did this record have any success?

Thought I'd like this but ended up hating it. I don't even know how to describe these guys. Southern tinged sleaze? I think it was the singer that turned me off. This is going to the used cd store for sure. Def. no connection to Rock City Angels(who are awesome)

Features Damon Johnson on guitars...He went on to play in Brother Cane & Slave To The System, as well as writing a few songs on Sammy Hagar's "Marching To Mars" release...This is more Southern Rock than Sleaze Rock.

Have 1989 Vinyl EP "Delta Rebels" Skull & Rebel flag black on black cover. 4 songs. 3 Way Love Affair, Tattoo Rosie, Dog Don't Hunt, Illegal Tender. Southern rock. "Illegal Tender" best, about hot young school girl. Don't know guitarist is Damon Johnson but he plays the hell out of an axe! Only names on album jacket writer credits for R.T. Scott, F. Reb & P. Massey. Produced by R. Eli Ball. Engineered & Mixed by John Hampton & R. Eli Ball. Have more info? Please email me at: tomandh@skybest.com

If you like Little Caesar you'll like this. Just plain "bar rock". I personally strongly disliked it.

From: aMetalhead1966 Date: February 1, 2006 at 15:15
Musically it's not bad,but the singer sucks!!!He has got a voice that makes G.G.Allin sound Great!!!He ruins the whole thing...Almost sounds like country at times(his voice)....UGH....Tossin' air biscuts sound better than this wanker!!

From: GANN Date: June 25, 2012 at 9:25
I would not say this is "Glam" - its Hardrock as itīs BEST. Just that kinda Music i wanna hear when i am rollig down a Highway on a dry, sunny Day. Bikerrock with Soul and Attitude. The Titletrack is so damn gret, i canīt remember how many Times i listened to it in my Life, and it never loses its Fascination to me

From: 123charpenay Date: June 28, 2012 at 13:26
it s excellent (musically) hard southern rock.great sound great songs but the voice of the singer is awful.it s a nightmare ,he ruins the record.this cd stay a raritie .

From: rick kerch vzla Date: July 2, 2012 at 17:05
Yeah my friend 123charpenay...it has a southern rock feel & sound by all means...reminds me of late 70's early 80's Molly Hatchet...best tracks for me are "Just Before Midnight" & "Howlin' At the Moon"...tracks 1,3 & 5 are also goodie ones...83/100

ok release by DELTA REBELS and i d say that they remind me of CIRCUS OF POWER,TWO BIT THIEF and LITTLE CAESAR but nearly good to those ats!overall nothing spectacular here and it s worth having only for Damon Johnson S guitar work and of the whole groove which is quite rockin!
