This one is a real classic aor album. Fine songs!!!

From: koogles Date: December 2, 2002 at 10:13
Where do I start with one of the classiest releases of all-time? Let's just say that Shy's "Excess All Areas", Bronz's "Taken By Storm" & Orion the Hunter's record all seem a bit miniature next to this AOR MONSTER. Chad Brown's vocals are incredible- this guy can hit every note that Tony Mills or Max Bacon or Tony Harnell can. But what puts this CD in a class by itself is its material. EVERY song is well-written & memorable, especially the pomp rocker "Towers of Silver". As ESSENTIAL as it gets.

From: JASPOUILLE Date: December 5, 2002 at 13:57
I M A TRUE FAN OF MAIDEN AND PRAYING MATIS THEN OF COURSE I WAS VERY EXITED WHEN I FOUND THIS PIECE...WHAT A DEASAPOINTING POOR SONGWRITING ..SORRY NOTHING GOOD I MCRYING

From: EddieBaby Date: December 30, 2002 at 20:39
What a wonderfull Album, pure class, the guitars and harmonies are perfect, the vocal performance brilliant, ten out of ten

From: Daniel Date: January 4, 2003 at 7:54
This is one rare gem!!! An AOR gem!!! Great memorable & melodic album. My favorites are Tower Of Silver, Nightmare & Living In A Dream. It's worth having this album in your collection. Once you get hooked into AOR/Melodic 80s rock, you'll never stop listening!!!

From: danthecdman Date: January 5, 2003 at 21:39
I didn't think this was that rare of a cd. But if you like this cd, look for their Lionheart:Unearthed-Raiders of the Lost Archives cd released in Japan. It's a 2-cd set chock full of demos and unreleased tunes.

From: epdorroh@yahoo. Date: April 15, 2003 at 7:03
How the heck do I get a copy of this album. I wore out the damn tape and can't find a CD?

From: Chris Date: June 1, 2003 at 11:24
Hey, this album is worth buying just for the opening cut 'Towers of silver' which is an aor monster (think of the band Touch). The rest of the album is decent, but nothing that special really. Worth having in your collection though, if you like aor.

From: Gar Date: June 2, 2003 at 6:30
Wasn't too impressed by this one. "Die For Love" is a great track though. Apparently they made a big budget video for it, which I've never seen. "Nightmare" was originally done by GILLAN, but neither version is all that great. I can see why people would like this album though. The band has a lot of talent and the production is strong. For me, the songs lacked fire.

From: Tobler Date: December 20, 2003 at 8:34
Einfach nur geil!!!

From: Rycheage Date: April 4, 2004 at 21:01
Lionheart open up with the AOR dramatics of 'Wait For The Night', stabbing keyboards a la Dakota, with a gentle lead in on the verses. The intensity is apparent on 'Hot Tonight', followed by the upbeat rocker 'Die For Love'. Check out the classic 'Towers Of Sliver' for a bout of AOR splendor! The guitar and keyboard interplay through the middle is sensational. Fans of bombastic pomp will get a kick out of 'Living In A Dream', with massive Queen-like harmony vocals.

From: paul Date: December 13, 2004 at 21:34
another classic I NEED!!!!! WHere can this be found???? thanks

From: Kim HP Date: December 26, 2004 at 17:12
Totally awesome hard rock/aor cd. Very consistent release, and the songs have a very strong 80's feeling to them. I would imagine fans of Magnum (OASTN-era) liking this one. Highlights: "Towers of Silver" , "Living in a Dream" and the title track...

From: Swriter Date: February 5, 2005 at 17:42
what can I say, just pulled out the vinyl, what a great classy album, very Aor/rock, great tunes, when is this gonna be re-released on cd!!!! an 80's classic that stands the test of time, still essential today!!!!

Another great 80's release. I recall this band getting quite a bit of press at the time, but came to nothing in the end - shame as this is a very good album. 'Towers Of Silver' seems to be most people's highlight on this, and i won't disagree. This was released as a Jap only release i think, and is difficult to get hold of now, but does crop up now and again. Now for someone to get that Stratus - 'Throwing Shapes' released - another great 80's AOR release to go along with this.

From: z4roxx Date: February 12, 2005 at 18:50
I love this band, and yeah,D.Stratton played here!!They sound more close to Survivor than Praying Mantis,IMO.Keys are predominant and you can find here some killer songs as"Wait for the Night","hot tonight","die for love"and"dangerous game".If you love D.Stratton works, you must get True Brits,on drums there's the ex-Iron Maiden Clive Burr.True Brits is a masterpiece...

From: Swriter Date: February 19, 2005 at 20:54
thanks 24, I pulled out my album today and this is a sleeper, man, this is a good one, not too heavy or too light, just great melodic rock/aor stuff with a touch of pomp. Wait, Hot, Die, Anger, Towers, and Nightmare are all magnificent!!!!! Hope to see a remaster soon!!!

From: z4roxx Date: February 19, 2005 at 21:10
I hope you'll can find True Brits, you'll love it even if it's much more hard rock oriented than this band(Reminds me to Fastway because plays also on the band Lea Hart).Speakin'about D.Stratton bands,I must recommend you Praying Mantis/a cry of the new world if you don't have, yet.Another artist plays this kind of music is Phil Vincent, got his double cd"circular logig"yesterday, what a marvellous class pomp melodick cd!

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: April 17, 2005 at 14:25

From: aordrums Date: July 10, 2005 at 12:21
Do you know other bands with this singer? Thank you

From: metal4breakfast Date: July 11, 2005 at 16:50
Rob 'Chad' Brown was the original vocalist of early NWOBHM band SABRE. Also supplied vocals with SWEET in the mid 90s.

From: swriter Date: July 20, 2005 at 22:26
great cd by the way, actually album, I have never found the cd!!! by the way, the guitarist was in Iron Maiden, not sure when, very early!!! is this one being released again soon???

From: ArnoldLancelot Date: July 31, 2005 at 23:13
Top ten of ALL TIME AOR!! Imagine Fortune's s/t but with some Tony Harnell/Mills-ish vocals!!! A true Classic by all means. The kind of aor record wich without been a mellow or happy release-kind(like most of scandi aor ones) definitly leaves you prideful feeling of how aor can be taken to the ultimate level. Up with the best of the best! p.s. How can Chad Brown hit ALL the notes on the final part of Nightmare without ANY pitch shade, is FU%$#ING UNBELIEVEBLE!!!

From: swriter Date: July 31, 2005 at 23:25
only reason I keep my turntable!!!!! did this one have a re-release lately??? incredible but my record is scratched!!!! hahaha

From: ArnoldLancelot Date: August 1, 2005 at 1:23
Dear swriter I've heard Sony music japan did some re-release short ago but it's already out of print! Anyway on ebay from time to time you can find it from 30 to even 60 bucs! Let me tell you that having it on cd it's amazing!! Go and search it!!

From: swriter Date: August 27, 2005 at 15:17
just pulled this one out as well, my record is cracked, oops, now to find on cd, great melodic stuff here!!!

From: SCANDI Date: October 29, 2005 at 13:41
I would compare that disc nearest to OUTSIDE EDGE's "Running hot" with a little bit more crispy (but not heavier) sound. Typically cool first-half 80s stuff which means the keys are not that variously used yet than in years to come. Like above mentioned indeed very QUEEN like harmonies. My favourite tracks here are "Wait for the night", "Die for love", "Towers of silver" & "Living in a dream" besides the ultimative "Don't look back in anger" which has great hooks all around. My rating 7,9/10

From: z4roxx Date: October 31, 2005 at 11:44
I was curious about your comparison and I did listen to again the Outside Edge cds’.I can be agree with you especially for keys approachin’and soundin’but the rest is pretty different IMO.

From: Japangea Date: May 17, 2006 at 11:09
Chad Brown is such an amazing singer. He recorded one solo 7" after Lionheart, and now you can hear his voice on Sbowblind CD entitled "Democracy".Seems it was all demo tracks recorded in mid 80's but if you are into Lionheart,do not skip that great hidden-treasure.

From: Figge Date: August 17, 2006 at 17:06
A great album! Some excellent AOR songs with the right attitude and not too whiny. The video to "Die FOr Love" made me buy this vinyl and I played it to death. I love Chad's voice! The sound is terribly dated though and I believe it will be hard for people who hear the album for the first time today to accept the sound, and especially the drums. Extremely 80s sounding (not necessarily a bad thing).

From: sanxdowntherainbow Date: December 12, 2006 at 1:10
Die For Love & Wair for the night are my favorite songs. Great AOR with fantastic production, one of the most overrated albums of the 80's AOR (for fans of: survivor, foreigner, FM, strangeways etc). A true gem. If find it...BUY IT !!!

From: sanxdowntherainbow Date: January 6, 2007 at 20:49
PD: Rafo Phoenix is a freakin asshole! No a classic??? U should be fukkon hanged! Go watch That "Laura" show, instead of listening to The music that u dont deserve fukker!

From: Dr_Funk Date: March 18, 2007 at 21:23
Don't you love it when you stumble apon gems? Absolutely fantastic! A niner for me. Wait For The Night: fabulous opener. Love it, wished it wasn't the only tune with sax.

From: lalorock Date: April 12, 2007 at 12:39

From: juan carlos Date: May 10, 2007 at 21:11

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: May 11, 2007 at 11:11

From: z4roxx Date: October 20, 2007 at 12:47
One of my fave ever in genre,10/10!!

From: TONI MALLORCA Date: October 28, 2007 at 17:25
ESTE ALBUM ES TAN NECESARIO COMO EL COMER!!!10/10

From: Dance Nation Date: January 12, 2008 at 10:22
Finally got this for $60 (£25) on ebay, after years of searching. Definitely a UK AOR classic. The first four songs ('Wait for the Night', 'Hot Tonight', 'Die for Love' and 'Towers of Silver') are worth the asking price alone! This has everything - from the leftover NWOBHM sound (Dennis Stratton's post Maiden influence) thru the silvery keyboards, the perfect harmony's, Chad's awesome vocals and the exquisite songwriting, no stone is left unturned in order to put out a prime slab of AOR. 9/10

From: shoemaker Date: January 12, 2008 at 15:45
Yes my friend therefor this is 10/10.

From: shoemaker Date: March 11, 2008 at 14:39

A REAL CLASSIC AOR.TURN UP THE SOUND AND OPEN ANOTHER BEER.FANTASTIC.100/100.

From: CMGio Date: May 9, 2010 at 5:29
Excellent record. "Die For Love" is a classic rocker.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 28, 2011 at 20:44
Very good album, very British AOR sound..reminded me of Mama's Boys or even the softer side of Samson...skilled vocalist and songs with a very solid beat..."Hot Tonight" rocks you good and songs such as "Towers Of Silver","Nightmare","Another Crazy dream" & "Dangerous Game" are worth a ton!!! ...get it!!...89/100

From: hair metal again Date: January 19, 2019 at 5:55
excellent debut for this all star UK band that i had the pleasure of buying the vinyl and spin it many many times back in the day!massive commercial hard rock music under Kevin s guidance and of course Chad s vocals stealing the show!"wait for the night",'hot tonight",'die for love" and "living in a dream" are sensational songs indeed!classic
