On this album they finally turned a little harder. The guitars are played with full conviction. BALLS TO THE WALL!!!! Still they do those fabolous melodies which were their trademark. 'Anytime Anywhere' was their radio hit from this album. A real Thriller! I almost start to cry when I hear that song. Sounds a little like Boston in their heyday but Torbens Pitch-perfect vocals get the job done...20 on a scale to 10 like 'Hungry for a Game'

I have a problem finding out which one is the best:hungry or this one but I like the touch of rawness and the adding of more balls to this one. great to hear. For my point of view, this was the end of the great Skags era.....I really hope some company would re-release all the albums with bonus trax or live songs.....Would be something really great!!!!!!!

'Rock this City' is a killer track...Hard on impact yet melodic...Very good production with the help of mr. Michael Wagener himself...The cd version in here is the 2nd edition as far as I recall...The original pressing didn't include the track 'So good so fine' & the track listing was different too...

By the way, the excellent Tommy Petersen went on to become a 'Hit-writer' later on...He actually appeared in the Eurovision Song Contest 2 years ago...No shit!

This is killer stuff, and is nowhere near as powerful as people are suggesting. Still layers of keys, and 'Anytime, Anywhere' is stunning. One of my all-time faves...

Nice blend of crunchy guitars, harmony vox, and good songwriting with a touch of keys to round it all out. Good stuff!

The thing I like about this one is that not all songs were the standard song structure. They mixed it up a little, but still stayed true to the huge hooks, choruses and musical quality. 'Talk dirty to me' and 'Anytime anywhere' are two of my faves, but like most Skagarak CDs I really like the whole CD. Excellent slab of European melodic rock once again. Highly recommended.

Also to me is their best cd.One of the best scandi cd ever heard.Mu only negative point is about vox,I am not a huge fans of Torben,he's indeed a great singer but I think that this one could be the number one with another singer(ex.Karl Aass of Da Vinci or Isaac Isaacson of Nation, too).BTW stellar band and stellar cd!!!

Hey Scandinavia... I'm very curios about your source of my lovely AOR! I look if I still have your e-mail address otherwise try this one: 'cornelius.groth@gmx.de' ... To say some words to that album: Never liked this one too much for sounding a bit heavier than the previous but it actually has a lot of good moments I just needed to get into. E.g. 'My way or the highway' is a 'kick ass', 'Like a prisoner' is my fave & 'Talk dirty to me' is good but wee bit too dirty for me

On this third album Skagarack added more power, more guitars, and the song structures are more complex. Definitely more 'balls' than the previous cd, which I think helped alot even though that one's good too. The production once again is top notch, sounds a million bucks. I'd rate it a good 9/10. Skagarack nailed near perfection on this album, just like 220 Volt did on Eye to Eye and Glory on Danger in this game, just to take two comparisons. For sure Skagarack's best album.

Certainly not great; definitely not good; barely even mediocore/decent at best. Songwriting & vocals = boring & bland. Anytime, anywhere is the best song and it's a rip off of Europe's "Cherokee". Don't waste your time and money with this CD; avoid. 3/10

Maybe I was a little too rough on this one(see previous post); after a few more plays this one has grown on me a little more; upgrade rating to 6/10 since it has some good songs but also has some filler/not so good songs; not excactly a must but not one to completely pass up either. I was expecting more when I first heard it and it left me a little disappointed; maybe it was the vocals, lack of originality, maybe the lack of good songs, or maybe all 3. Nevertheless, a decent melodic rock/aor CD.

Unfortunately this immense band is a little bit ruined by the singer, strange kind of voice,If you like originality you can appreciate this man but definitely another singer could add the rate here.IMO this band rest one of the greatest from Scandi, music is stunning except the debut that is a little inferior IMO but great anyway. The T.Smidt solo album is their best performance I think.

Not as good as the first two albums but a decent one. It's a mix of american and scandinavian sound. My favourite songs on this disc are Like a prisoner, Anytime, Anywhere and Open Your Eyes. 8 out of 10.

The voice of Torben is PERFECTLY fitting to the music. I like his voice a lot!! Crystalclear voice, just the right mixture with "bad" and "relaxing" vipes in it. Also he sings perfectly that "high pitched". z4roxx you have a strange taste with voices.. Voice: 8/10 Music: 7/10 (9/10 for the first two SKAGARACK CDs)

You know, I have to add another comment regarding this CD. When I first got it I believe I was in a listening rut (listened to too many new CD's quickly); I was harsh when I first judged it. I really like Skagarack and this disc (also have Hungry For a Game and love it). Torben has a good voice and Skagarack has good songs of AOR/Hard Rock. Anytime, Anywhere is amazing. 1, 6,&10 are also great. Not much filler on this one. This is a solid album and I give it an 8/10. Cheers to all!

Annoyingly lame Hard Rock/AOR with weak songs and a weaker still guitar sound, coupled with the cheapest of keyboard sounds this side of the Titanic's lounge band on sinking night!!! Regarded as some long lost classic but now finally out on re issue, sadly many will be fooled into parting with their cash on the strength of some of the comments above and its ready availability, but in all honesty this is a watered down, anaemic, still birth of an album that should have remained locked away in some obscure vault. 40/100
