Great Album, It's from 1989.

From: TIM Date: May 27, 2003 at 18:37
Thanks Kristian. Just fixed it.

From: Scandinavia Date: May 29, 2003 at 11:21
On this album they finally turned a little harder. The guitars are played with full conviction. BALLS TO THE WALL!!!! Still they do those fabolous melodies which were their trademark. 'Anytime Anywhere' was their radio hit from this album. A real Thriller! I almost start to cry when I hear that song. Sounds a little like Boston in their heyday but Torbens Pitch-perfect vocals get the job done...20 on a scale to 10 like 'Hungry for a Game'

From: motley Date: June 3, 2003 at 19:23
I have a problem finding out which one is the best:hungry or this one but I like the touch of rawness and the adding of more balls to this one. great to hear. For my point of view, this was the end of the great Skags era.....I really hope some company would re-release all the albums with bonus trax or live songs.....Would be something really great!!!!!!!

HAHAHA just found this gem in its original cd pressing for appr. 3 bucks via www.hangloose-records.com...Worth checking out!

From: Scandinavia Date: August 24, 2003 at 7:51
'Rock this City' is a killer track...Hard on impact yet melodic...Very good production with the help of mr. Michael Wagener himself...The cd version in here is the 2nd edition as far as I recall...The original pressing didn't include the track 'So good so fine' & the track listing was different too...

From: Scandinavia Date: August 29, 2003 at 7:29
By the way, the excellent Tommy Petersen went on to become a 'Hit-writer' later on...He actually appeared in the Eurovision Song Contest 2 years ago...No shit!

Hey Scandinavia --I LOVE scandinavian Melodicrock (from Danmark, Sweden & Norway). Can you help me finding all the big, good ones out of the end of the 80s?? I search for EASY ACTION, THOMAS VIKSTRÖM, ERIKA, DA VINCI, TORBEN SCHMIDT and so on..

This is killer stuff, and is nowhere near as powerful as people are suggesting. Still layers of keys, and 'Anytime, Anywhere' is stunning. One of my all-time faves...

Fantastic album.

Nice blend of crunchy guitars, harmony vox, and good songwriting with a touch of keys to round it all out. Good stuff!

From: Geoff Date: September 10, 2004 at 2:56
The thing I like about this one is that not all songs were the standard song structure. They mixed it up a little, but still stayed true to the huge hooks, choruses and musical quality. 'Talk dirty to me' and 'Anytime anywhere' are two of my faves, but like most Skagarak CDs I really like the whole CD. Excellent slab of European melodic rock once again. Highly recommended.

From: AdryA [Hungary] Date: February 24, 2005 at 15:16
The best album they've ever made. Most of the songs are really great and should have been big hits.

From: orietto Date: February 24, 2005 at 18:53
thier best release ever ! 10/10

From: Erik Date: February 25, 2005 at 1:59
I said it once and i will say it again: Skagarack ,Great King Rat, Dalton and Da Vinci are the best ever Scandi Melodic rock bands. Amen

From: z4roxx Date: February 25, 2005 at 19:20
Also to me is their best cd.One of the best scandi cd ever heard.Mu only negative point is about vox,I am not a huge fans of Torben,he's indeed a great singer but I think that this one could be the number one with another singer(ex.Karl Aass of Da Vinci or Isaac Isaacson of Nation, too).BTW stellar band and stellar cd!!!

From: Scandinavia Date: May 9, 2005 at 16:24
Hey Scandi...Tried to write you like ages ago but my mails never got delivered...I might have found a place to buy all your rare Scandi AOR wants.... Still a topclass album here though!

From: SCANDI Date: May 10, 2005 at 15:09
Hey Scandinavia... I'm very curios about your source of my lovely AOR! I look if I still have your e-mail address otherwise try this one: 'cornelius.groth@gmx.de' ... To say some words to that album: Never liked this one too much for sounding a bit heavier than the previous but it actually has a lot of good moments I just needed to get into. E.g. 'My way or the highway' is a 'kick ass', 'Like a prisoner' is my fave & 'Talk dirty to me' is good but wee bit too dirty for me

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: June 29, 2005 at 22:14
Mmm Good Melodic Hard Rock album, con mis dudas pero esta Ok, mas duro que los anteriores y no tan bueno como esos, pero bueno esta Ok, buena banda pero no de los Lideres escandinavos.

From: Mediaab Date: January 3, 2006 at 9:21
On this third album Skagarack added more power, more guitars, and the song structures are more complex. Definitely more 'balls' than the previous cd, which I think helped alot even though that one's good too. The production once again is top notch, sounds a million bucks. I'd rate it a good 9/10. Skagarack nailed near perfection on this album, just like 220 Volt did on Eye to Eye and Glory on Danger in this game, just to take two comparisons. For sure Skagarack's best album.

From: lars sorenssen Date: January 9, 2006 at 19:36
cool album theres no words to describe it,powerful guitars, pounding drums, awesome vocals.what else you can beg to this album.its killer.what are you waiting for to buy. you dont regret. but i feel in disagree with a rafo phoenix,i translated all the comments and i found a awful truth.this guy confess that he steals all his albums all over 10000 albums from the web.so sad why this guy is on this page.then he offers all the front covers by e-mail. what a big shame if steal is a crime

From: lars sorenssen Date: January 9, 2006 at 19:38
and it shows the kind of customs with he was raised in his family, the he attacks to a guy for saying (dont download)what a big shame rafo phoenix should out from this page.please we dont want cyber thiefs right

From: mauricio Date: July 2, 2006 at 21:49

From: metalhead4life Date: December 12, 2006 at 15:34
Certainly not great; definitely not good; barely even mediocore/decent at best. Songwriting & vocals = boring & bland. Anytime, anywhere is the best song and it's a rip off of Europe's "Cherokee". Don't waste your time and money with this CD; avoid. 3/10

From: metalhead4life Date: December 14, 2006 at 15:36
Maybe I was a little too rough on this one(see previous post); after a few more plays this one has grown on me a little more; upgrade rating to 6/10 since it has some good songs but also has some filler/not so good songs; not excactly a must but not one to completely pass up either. I was expecting more when I first heard it and it left me a little disappointed; maybe it was the vocals, lack of originality, maybe the lack of good songs, or maybe all 3. Nevertheless, a decent melodic rock/aor CD.

From: z4roxx Date: December 16, 2006 at 15:06
Unfortunately this immense band is a little bit ruined by the singer, strange kind of voice,If you like originality you can appreciate this man but definitely another singer could add the rate here.IMO this band rest one of the greatest from Scandi, music is stunning except the debut that is a little inferior IMO but great anyway. The T.Smidt solo album is their best performance I think.

From: Pudelrockarn Date: March 4, 2007 at 10:53
Not as good as the first two albums but a decent one. It's a mix of american and scandinavian sound. My favourite songs on this disc are Like a prisoner, Anytime, Anywhere and Open Your Eyes. 8 out of 10.

From: erik Date: March 15, 2007 at 14:21
This pearl of an album , together with Sure Conviction - Get Ready and Seven Seals - Bidin Our Time, is coming my way as we speak. Life is good

From: erik Date: March 23, 2007 at 13:57
Essential. Rocks from start to finish. More rocking edge to the songs then on the previous 2 albums. 9,5/10

From: z4roxx Date: March 23, 2007 at 14:32
Hi Erik!!!!How are U?The ruin of this band is T.Smidt's voice in my opinion, can't understand well this kind of voice....

From: newscandi Date: March 25, 2007 at 12:32
The voice of Torben is PERFECTLY fitting to the music. I like his voice a lot!! Crystalclear voice, just the right mixture with "bad" and "relaxing" vipes in it. Also he sings perfectly that "high pitched". z4roxx you have a strange taste with voices.. Voice: 8/10 Music: 7/10 (9/10 for the first two SKAGARACK CDs)

From: z4roxx Date: March 25, 2007 at 12:42
Personally I dislike Torben's voice exclusively for his strange timbrique but I can say he's ok for Skagarack contest.Skagarack are among my fave bands,it shouldn't true the contrary, that's inhevitable if you love this genre....

From: erik Date: March 29, 2007 at 10:14
Hi Andrea !! All well over here. How are you ? I myself really like Torbens voice. Like newscandi wrote his voive perfectly fits the music. Tomorrow i should get the reissued solo album of Torben. Another masterpiece. For me

From: z4roxx Date: March 29, 2007 at 11:37
I Erik,I am fine thanks!I repeat that Skagarack are among the best from scandinavia of all times but I don't like so much the Torben's voice, sorry also to his family ahahah! Now I must say to all to get all Locomotive Breath cds',they are the best band in activity from Scandinavia IMO.

From: metalhead4life Date: March 29, 2007 at 11:39
You know, I have to add another comment regarding this CD. When I first got it I believe I was in a listening rut (listened to too many new CD's quickly); I was harsh when I first judged it. I really like Skagarack and this disc (also have Hungry For a Game and love it). Torben has a good voice and Skagarack has good songs of AOR/Hard Rock. Anytime, Anywhere is amazing. 1, 6,&10 are also great. Not much filler on this one. This is a solid album and I give it an 8/10. Cheers to all!

From: Lovedrive Date: June 28, 2007 at 11:49
Buen disco este de Skagarack! Me encanta "Anytime, anywhere"

From: shark attack Date: August 3, 2008 at 11:53
Annoyingly lame Hard Rock/AOR with weak songs and a weaker still guitar sound, coupled with the cheapest of keyboard sounds this side of the Titanic's lounge band on sinking night!!! Regarded as some long lost classic but now finally out on re issue, sadly many will be fooled into parting with their cash on the strength of some of the comments above and its ready availability, but in all honesty this is a watered down, anaemic, still birth of an album that should have remained locked away in some obscure vault. 40/100

lalo r.o.c.k. dont forget to listen to Great King Rat debutalbum. It will blow your socks off that good

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 16, 2011 at 13:43
Their best album IMHO....out of the 3 i have listened of the band(basically their 2 previous ones)this release is a major hit!!!...great songs and compositions all over ..." Answer To Your Prayers","Anytime Anywhere","Open Your Eyes" are my favorites but also there are other great tracks such as the opener "My Way Or The Highway","Talk Dirty To Me" ,"A Slice Of Heaven" & the Whitesnake-ish "So Fine So Good"....a worthy album...'nuff said!!!.92/100

From: Locoaor Date: August 3, 2013 at 0:56
Una decepcion este disco, a pesar de ser del 89 uno piensa que es otra joya del rock melodico pero es una pena, no le llega alos talones a su anterior disco "Hungry for a Game" el mejor de su carrera.

From: hair metal again Date: September 15, 2014 at 4:20
very good release once again by SKAGARACK ,but even though you like it and wait for somethin big ,unfortunately never happens!i d say it s quite safe and doesnt really make you lose control !well performed ,structured and everything but no real spark in it!"anytime, anywhere" and "talk dirty to me" the highlights of this pretty good hard rock release!

From: 123charpenay Date: September 10, 2015 at 13:22
after their two atomic bombs of scandi a o r ,return of the heroes .i love this cd.the keyboards are more discreet and so they sound hard than never.pleasure guaranted cause the trademarks of skagarack are not forgotten.here it s top class hard fm with big guitars ,fantastic melodies and always the fabulous voice of mr schmidt.the three first records of skagarack are essential to all melodic rock lovers.
