Radio Moscow in some parts play a brand of ballsy sounding rock with a Southern and bluesy edge to it, like a combination of Bad Company and Tangier for instance. In other parts they take on a slight atmospheric edge a la Diamondhead.

They performed in Venezuela in the beginning of the 90's and i saw them live.Do not remenber if they were aor thought they were more rock but anyway this album is as "normal"as drinking a cup of coffee.

Very Good Hard Rock/AOR album, Buenisima placa de esta banda a millas de distancia de su siguiente trabajo "Get A New Life", aca encontramos desde cortes Hard Rock a AOR pero mayormente cortes cruzados entre ambos estilos Standing, The Flame(estos 2 son ESPECTACULARES el tipo de cortes que personalmente busco), Ring on Your Finger, Message for You 4 Great AOR songs este disco es altamente recomendado, muy en la onda Bad Company y Tangier muy cierto 8.5/10

Gave this album a proper listening after so many years that i got hold of it and my mind completely changed ...great album and a recommendable one!!!!...it combines Melodic Rock with AOR in a very pleasant way...my faves are "Blind Man's Eyes","Standing","Message For You","The Flame","Thousand Kisses"(great groove!!!),"She's Got It Bad"(rocks good) & "Heart It In The Wind"(nice mid tempo)...basically the whole release!!!...this act performed along with Swingin' Thing(Glam) and 2 other american bands live in my country(Venezuela) in early 90's for a "new" cigarrette brand(the slogan was "route 66")that was launched...my impression of Radio Moscow's performance was tedious and obviously affected the "songs"...but now if we are talking about the release itself, that's another story...90/100

excellent debut for RADIO MOSCOW back in 91 with their sound being updated ,but also offer some more mysterioys hooks like DIAMOND HEAD did!all the songs are great and i can assure you that after a few spins it will be difficult to remove it of your cd player!"ring on your finger',"hear it in the wind","standing" are sensational songs indeed!essential

i can say that this record is better than their second effort "get a new life".nevertheless this affair stay very very average.ok the sound is perfect ,the production a must but the songs are just decent.the singer is weak ,and sometimes (track 1) he is out of tune and his voice is not adapted to this type of hard rock.with an exceptional singer like ron young (little caesar)this cd could be better.even if little caesar plays in champion s league and radio moscow in a second or third zone hard rock band.this album is for die hard fans of american indie realises.
