This is an awesome hard rock CD. "I'll Be There" and "Rescue Me" kick ass. Excellent songwriting and musicianship. Highly recommended!!

Cry Havoc play a brand of high-octane guitar driven stadium rock, with all the attitude you might expect, some nice arrangements and a tendency for the big sound – you know, big drums, big guitars, big vocals.

From: Hrudet Date: July 2, 2003 at 21:14
The harmony vocals are a highlight of the album, as are the vocals in general; it's just that slightly programmed feel, or poor mix of the rhythm section that throws things out. There's also a slight lack of variation in pace and style within the album. This is a solid debut and there is no problem with the talent of the guys. A better mix and some more song variation would mean album number two could be quite something.

This disc, along with Regenerator by Mechanix have been 2 of the most pleasant musical surprises I've had recently.Straight ahead hard rock that should appeal to fans of bands like Talon,Vicious Mary,Fury, and my faves,Dokken. While some of the songs do tend to "bleed" together due to having similar sounds,I do find myself enjoying the entire disc.I totally agree with Rycheage,as "I'll Be There" & "Rescue Me" are the stand-out tracks here;simply EXCELLENT!Hard rock fans should grab this one now!

Very good debut disc. The brilliant 'Rescue me' is a highlight, as well as the beautiful ballad 'I need you'. The rest is very solid hard rock. Check it out.

It’s a poorer version of Mattador but it’s not bad,it contains some interesting song with some high melodick moments, but absolute no comparison with great bands of this genre. One of the worst drums here ever heard,I think it’s the only time I’d prefer a drum programming!7.5/10.

Good stuff, this one has enough big hooks and stacked harmonies to make most melodic hard rock lovers cry tears of joy. Most of the other CDs in your collection will probably be jealous when you get this, because it'll spend so much time in your player that the others will feel downright neglected. As previous reviewers have noted, the drum sound leaves much to be desired, but that's a minor negative amidst a whole bunch of positives. Feed this one to your stereo and you'll be a happy camper.

MelodicHardRock de muy buena factura pero cierto es lo de la producción(mezcla y sonido de la bateria específicamente). Tremendo inicio en "I'll Be There" mi favorita sin dudas pero todo el disco es muy bueno, "No Way Out" "I Need You"... Buenos coros/Riffs/Melodías/solos, la voz ok. 8.5/10

pretty good debut by CRY HAVOC and from the first tunes you can realize that these guys know how to compose a good, catchy song!as some of previous stated there s a problem with the sound and the variety ,but overall it is enjoyable and worth buying!"rescue me" "no way out" and "fuel that feeds the fire" are the highlights
