Hooray!! Gillan is back! And it's too stay this time. Mk. 2's final release is a good one, and contains possibly Purple's finest song, "Anya". The title track, "Talk About Love", "Twist In The Tale", and "Solitaire" are all outstanding. Only the last track, "One Man's Meat", is a letdown. In fact, that song is without a doubt the worst song Purple has ever recorded. But the rest of the album more than makes up for the one lame song! |

i would love to hear joe lynn turner singing in this album, some say this album was made for him. great songs! |

It was made for him, but it didn't sound good with him, so they kicked him out and got back Ian. Wich, btw, was a great move, cause Ian is the only real voice of Purple. |

Title track is great, "Anya" - great, "Time To Kill" - great, "Solitaire" - great, but the rest is... hmm. Not as great as I wish... |

The worst Ian Gillan fronted Deep Purple album. The title track rocks and "Anya" is a good epic. The rest of the tracks sound too much the same and lack strong hooks or the excellent riffs that we are used to from Blackmore. 5/10 |

this is a real Deep Purple album!!!Great guitar and keyboard solos, strong vocals and an amazing drumwork!!!Gillan kicks ass on it. |

The final Mark II lineup and the end of Blackmore in Deep Purple forever. I think this is one of their best. |
