This is my favorite Blackmore Purple album. There's not a single song on this album i don't like. "Child in Time" has the trade-mark Blackmore kamikaze-style solo. "Bloodsucker" is not one you hear about, but is totally cool (cool riff, etc). BUY IT, you'll like it! |

very good release for DEEP PURPLE that became one of the important releases in the history of hard rock ,mostly because of the "child in time" which is an ultimate classic!first album with Gillan &Glover and i dare to say that it didnt have the groove of the previous ones ,but it had that big song that the previous dint!the musicianship is very good ,the jams are present and overall its good stuff, just not great |

The greatest debut ever by DP! It's like Elvis Presley meets Heavy Metal the way he should've done by the end of his career! "Speed King" is an example how Elvis should've sound like as Ian Gillan is suppose to sound like the king of RnR. When it comes to Rock and Roll you better get this album because it is where it begins the history of HEAVY METAL! Cheers \m/ |
