|Every Europe fan should listen to this album. Not only because Tone is John Norum sister, but also because this album is practically a femalefronted AOR version of Europe with the guys on backing vocals making the choruses sound as though they were Europe choruses. Aside from that it's a great 80's album, a bit poppish but... hey, it ain't a perfect world.

|well, krullet couldn't have said it better!.this is like listening to the final countdown but with female lead vocals, and you know what!? there are some great tunes in here too. go buy this you'll like it, believe me.

|I'm totally agree with you guys. If you're Europe fan this one is a sure buy! Joey Tempest in 1985/86 wrote a lot of beautiful songs! He was the scandinavian answer to Desmond Child and Diane Warren...hehehe

|Really a masterpiece from a great songwriter (J.Tempest) and a nice little voice (T.Norum). My favourite song's the last WooooW... I really like great female AOR like Erika,Shell & the ocean,Annica,Aina,Blonde on Blonde/Perfect crime,Vixen,Private life,Heart (of course!) or THIS one. So can you tell me more great melodious not too hard female AOR gems??

|Scandi: Try the band "One Two".... I just got this one in the mail yesterday and it's very polished...More than I thought! The Tempest songwriting technique is very present and it's nice to hear his backing vocals, but overall it's a very dated album! Best song is "Stranded" which has a hardrock edge to it...The rest is mediocre "wanna-be-big" AOR...

|Thanks Scandinavia but however I do like ONE OF A KIND very much! I got the CD GETTING BETTER by ONE TWO -- sorry to say .. but not enough memoriable melodies in it .. it's more in a blues/jazz style. My all time faves in this section are: HEART-ALONE, ONE 2 MANY-DOWNTOWN, AINA-BELIEVE IN ME (know only this song from her), and the mentioned CAN'T YOU STAY P.S.: Does anybody know other interesting Female AOR singer?!?

|Decent Euro-pop, the highlight being "Stranded" with it's "Final Countdown" style keyboard-riff. Europe recorded the song for their "Prisoners In Paradise" album but never used it, sadly, as their version of this was a monster. Too straight-ahead AOR for the "P.i.P" album I guess. The rest of this is pretty decent, although in most cases you can see why Joey Tempest never used the songs for Europe. Vocally this is pretty average too. 6/10.

|OTRO BUEN ALBUM DE AOR/POP, POR PARTE DE LOS NORUM, NO TAN BUENO COMO EL SIGUIENTE PERO ES UN BUEN TRABAJO, CLARO SI ERES AMANTE DEL AOR NO DUDARAS EN TENERLO. DA GUSTO ESCUCHAR CANTAR A LAS CHICAS MUSICA CON CLASE Y CATEGORIA, NO COMO EN LA ACTUALIDAD QUE TODO ES BASURA (SIN GUSTO, SIN CLASE, Y CON MAS TECNOLOGIA QUE NO LES SIRVE DE MUCHO, IMAGINENSE LA TECNOLOGIA DE AHORA EN LOS 80) SALVO EXCEPCIONES.

|un buen album algo light a años luz de "THe final countdown". Pero escuchable y bastante divertido.

|Yo también quiero ese CD 9/10

|This cd is ok but she lacks in somethin'for me.Her best songs are indeed the most energic,like the stunning opening"If I were Queen","Stranded"is another very good melodick piece of aor like also the pompous"Secrets of a heart".But her softest tracks lack of originality and do this cd a little bit weak,IMO.I am not a great fans of this kind of babies,too much clean sound got a flat result.BTW it's a good aor cd,maybe her best but I prefer 100 times R.Beck or Gudrun Laos voices....

|I agree with Tim (2). Very overrated.
||Date: January 12, 2008 at 15:27|
|Sorry, nice but simple songs and a mediocre voice.
||Date: September 14, 2008 at 14:17|
|A good AOR album, but a little soft for my taste. It sounds like a softened version of Fiona. Although, it is a listenable album. The best tracks for me are "Stranded", "Secrets Of The Heart", "This Is Love" and "Playing With Fire".

|I think the chick's childish voice kind of ruined this album.
||Date: November 28, 2019 at 12:10|
|Very average album [just not to say weak]. In places the good material [by the Europe guys] is there, but the singer is very weak. How can someone rate this 100/100 is beyond me.
