If you notice that a particular Shania Twain CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Shania Twain are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I'd better upload some Take That and BoyZone next.

Who's been waiting with baited breath for Shania - the demo years? Will the person who submitted 'Limelight' and Cher's 3 releases please reveal themselves out of the Heavyharmony Witness Post-Tection program. This is light AOR and Cher is melodic rock/AOR? It's ironic Twain does a Cher cover as I have been down this road before fighting the good fight. To my ears the only track that crosses into AOR territory is 'All fired up,No place to go'. It takes more than 1 track IMO to jump ship into a AOR release. Listen to 'It's Alright(club mix)' as if you can classify that tune and a majority of the tracks AOR then let the HH floodgates open. Twain's AC/DC shirt and ex husband 'Mutt' are as close as she ever came to rock.

Yes, I´m waiting on Chris de Burgh here on this side. He has some AOR tunes also :]

All joking aside: music should be featured regardless of the performing artist. AOR isn't limited to a specific performer or whatever. It was a commercial genre in the 1980's and therefore performed by many Pop artists at the time. And it should be commercial again to rule the airwaves once more. Hip Pop is tuneless and doesn't represent people's choice. No sales for that so more of this please. To me this is AOR. A majority of the tracks fit the description perfectly and Rock as hard as many bands featured on this site. Also keep in mind how AOR is not just about guitar heaviness. AOR is about the melody first of all. And when performed well it features the big picture: good vocals, well blended instruments and smart structures outing harmonic art of sound. Way I see it.

Mike Tuinstra - will you be giving your same AOR stamp of approval comments for all Cher's releases also? The HH community waits feverishly. Please start a writing campaign to get David Hasselhoff - Night Rocker posted on this site.

Fuck Hasselhoff, man, get started on Huey Lewis and the News, then move on to Kenny Loggins.
