i know i post alot of positive comments on this site because i'm not really into bad mouthing stuff..SO let's say i did 100 positive comments but i have to pick 10 as favorite discs well, this one would be included.. This is soooo good, this disc guided me through the nineties..'wheels in motion",can you move me,"i'm in trouble", 'coming home' all great aor songs. i wonder how many of you guys know about this band? I know drummer Aaron Mumma plays with the black mollys but where is the rest?

AOR fans, you need this! nitrodoll, not enough people know about this one. My earlier description is just a minimal description. I don't think too many know who The Cauze, Hot Boy, Barrage, and Maxime are. If you can handle Boston with more keys or a heavier Survivor then you'd love this. Rush fans could get into this as well.

If Honeymoon Suite styled hard rock is your flavor then you'll love this cd. The band hailed from Kansas City and were played quite a bit by Crankin' Craig on Z-Rock back in the early 90's when this cd came out! Excellent cd!

Top quality melodic rock in the vein of a heavier Honeymoon Suite (Johnny Wayne's vocals remind me alot of Johnnie Dee's in places) and Biloxi. For an independent release this is superb and i can't think of one bad song on this disc. Criminal that they didn't get a major label backing as they were so much better than alot of the bands around at that time. Just be thankful that this was released and if you don't have it then as nitrodoll said above beg, blag, borrow, steal sell your partner for it

Loving this thing the more I listen to it!! Thanks for ever turning me on to it, Tim!!! Ok..am I crazy, or does the guitar riff in "Can You Move Me" remind anyone else of the intro to Dokken's "It's Not Love"??? "What My Body Needs" (TO ME) kinda has a little Sage meets Kiss vibe to it. My favorite song HAS to be "1000 Times A Day"...followed by "Don't Control Me". Very nice disc!!!

This is a wicked mix of melodic rockers melding Honeymoon Suite, Mastedon and perhaps at the heavier end of the spectrum, a band like Shark Island. Sing Sing for the most part, are strong on keyboard layers, counter melodies, strong rhythmic guitars, and rich choruses. Vocalist and principal songwriter Johnny Wayne has a voice similar in part to Honeymoon Suite's Johnnie Dee as well as Prophet's Russell Arcara.

Wheels In Motion is a great song! Surprised the ebay price on this one isn't higher - has to be pretty hard to find this one I would think. I found mine at a 2nd hand book store, but this doesn't strike me as an easy one to track down.

Agree with the Harem Scarem comments, but this is not as good (nor as worth tracking down) as some people have suggested. Honeymoon Suite is a great comparitor, but the catchy choruses aren't there. If you see it dirt cheap then pick it, and if you see it very expensive then let me know and I'll put my copy on eBay! I seem to remember their second album ("Human Cannonball") being better.

Great cd. Apparently Sing Sing also released a second cd called "Human Cannonball" in 1995. Can anyone confirm this? That second cd is as good as impossible to find.

Iudezu, yes they did release this. I think it's marginally better than this album, but then I don't like this first one very much. They sound like a 2nd rate Honeymoon Suite to me, so maybe best to get someone else's opinion! In all honesty, for my money there are much better gems out there than either of these two...

Masterpiece. Nothing 2nd rated to be found here. Every songs is just spot on. The guitar solos, the singing, the chorusses, lenght of the songs. A GEM THIS ALBUM !! Been looking for it soooo long and the search has been soooo rewarding. And by far better then Honeymoon suite. Sorry Tim. lol All a matter of taste right.

I like this CD as it is good solid hard rock. Unfortunately, whilst being good and consistent, it didn't really have any frills, or thrills and didn't appear to have any songs that really reached out to grab me as an individual. Good solid hard rock, but I don't really find anything too special in this good collection of songs.

The "Human Cannonball" CD was released by a different band, so as far as I'm aware this was the only masterpiece of melodic mayhem put out by the band. Perhaps Johnny Wayne et al would like to set the record straight?..

Anyone who loves this one ought to give "Ask A Stranger" a try. 3 or 4 songs sound like they came off of the SingSing playlist. The rest is great too.

After listening to this one for awhile, it certainly grows on you. The opener IMO is the best track. A cool hard rocker. A good comparison is a harder edged Honeymoon Suite. Although that comparison can be misleading a bit too. They certainly have their own sound. There are a few songs that I skip when listening to this but all in all it is quite enjoyable and worth tracking down. Kudos to Doug for helping me acquire an original copy.

donīt understand why this band was compared that often with honeymoon suite. i canīt hear that. nice melodic rock, but not as catchy as other bands out of that genre (yes, for example h.suite). this imo is not a must. 7/10

this band kicks total ASS. i have a ton of cds and this is one of the best out there. listen to the last song = "dont control me". its one of the best on the cd. i dont think it gets a fair chance being last on the disc. as well as the first 4 songs on the cd. the rest just grow on you. play this cd a few times and i guarentee a few of these songs will grow on you. my IPOD is sick of playing "don't control me" i sure of it!!!!!!

Great mid-western band. I remember them touring in 1994 and were something to see live. A first class effort that really encapsulates the early 90's Hard Rock sound. I had so hoped they would release a follow up. Anyway, if you haven't heard this disc it is well worth checking out.

Personal conflicts arose in the recording of their 2nd cd and the band went their separate ways.. Pat works in the medical field now, Brian is a pilot and Johnny plays in a casino/lounge act called Johnny & the Gasman
