This rating will go up quickly I suspect. This is very melodic hard rock with a stellar production job, excellent musicianship and I think it'll appeal to many here. 'Onnie' and 'Angel heart' are highlights for me, but this is good consistent hard rock. Not a personal fave of mine, but a good disc either way.

If you're anxious to discover another really good melodic hard rock band, then look no further than these guys. If you love melodic guitars, catchy hooks, memorable choruses, and plenty of backing vocals, then this group needs to be in your collection. There are a couple of subpar songs that keep the album from being truly great, but the good far exceeds the bad. If you don't own this excellent release, I'd go out and get it if I were you...

Boy, talk about BIG back-up vocals! These guys suggest Blue Tears sitting around a Bonfire with a slightly more raspy vocalist at the helm. But the production is absolutely incredible- huge walls of back-up vocals at every opportunity. The guitarist is flashy and quick, like a Nuno of the North. James Christian of House of Lords did some production/mixing/recording. Recommended!

This is not bad, but it lacks a certain something to make it a good CD. Average release ...

This band has NOTHING to offer fans of big backing vocals the production is pants, the songs are VERY subpar, none of the songs are catchy and of course the sing has that AC/DC sound but more screechy which is a BIG turn off. Peronally I think this is complete crap I could not even listen past the first chorus on all of the songs thats how bad I think this is. If like me you like good AOR/Hard rock then don't get this...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

Quite liked it when i first picked it up (maybe a year ago), and after a while on the shelf I just listened to it another 2-3 times and really beginning to take a shine to it.great sleazy hard rock. big backing vocals, but definitely not as polished as blue tears or bb steal.... maybe "gang vocals" is a better term. vocals can be a bit 'gravely' at times, sorta like Ratt maybe. 3-4 excellent tracks on here, including the incredible Onnie, with the remaining songs all very solid. Song writing is pretty good too... not all parties and sumemrtime love, but some thought provoking stuff amongst the lot. 80/100

pretty good hard rock release by ANXIETY and alhough isnt an exceptional one it will satisfy every hard rocker!the musicianship is ok and especially the guitar work and the band has some great ideas ,but it s just not as solid as it needs to get to the next level!"liar",'inside your mind" ,"take me all the way" and "angel heart" are the highlights !good stuff
