If you want ballsy, hard-edged, sleaze-driven glam-metal, then it doesn't cum much better than this baby. Lead vocalist Scotty LaStat has enough attitude to rival Sebastian Bach, and the guitars really power these songs into big, over-the-top choruses, complete with those delicious gang backing vocals. This hellacious helping of hard rock should appeal to a wide variety of folks, from the fans of Skid Row to the followers of Poison to the lovers of Barely Legal. Just take a listen an' see.

This one's on my wantlist M.Allen. I'll have to check them out.

very talented musicians that's for sure...one of my all time favorite records.. Everything is just right about that album except the lack of succes..they're still around and moved into a more heavier modern sound but without being a fan of the genre, it's always cool to hear the newer tunes...these guys deserve succes most of all because of the great songwriting but also the fact they keep the faith, still all original bandmembers... www.finsterbaby.com nitrodoll1974@hotmail.com

From: Steve Raia Date: December 9, 2002 at 18:46
Hi everyone thanks for the kind comments about our old CD, it's always a nice feeling to know people are still listening to those songs. We had a great time in those days and we're still around in NYC. Keep rockin! -S

This is a very good album, but , maybe for the production 'modernist' and the musical solutions model 'funky'(for the bass lines), this result hard to listen for the 'true rocker'... 8/10

Accidentally found this ``babe` in a cd store here on sale 1,50 USD. LOL. Its worth every cent. Ive listened to some of the stuff on their homepage. Its hard driven heavy rock. Just the way I like it.

From: Paulo-Fernandes Date: April 18, 2003 at 22:09

Good, solid CD. Production lacks a bit in places, but as a whole this cd rocks. Great effort with an awesome sleazy sound. 8.5/10

Finster Baby was one of the better bands in this style in those early 90s I alway went to the shows in NYC. I think they are still around but palying harder stuff. This CD was always a favorite. Its like LA Guns and Faster Pussycat.

Hot damn, now here is a glam cd that kicks ass. The first song, is awesome. I jammed to this at work, and if this thing don't get you pumped up, then nothing will. Then song three came on, and that was it. People were staring at me like I belonged in a mental institution. And I work third shift, and a lot of freaks come out at night.....well this cd bought the freak out of me. Grab this now. I especially love the Jim Gillette/like vocals as well...Very cool!

If you're a fan of Vamp Le Stat, check this out immediately. Also reminds me a little of Parlor Trixx, but unfortunately not as good as either of those two. I like this disc, especially the first track, but I remember listening to it hoping dearly the next song would blow my mind. I did that all the way through and by the end I'd heard a whole bunch of good songs, but nothing amazing. Still, very good, solid hard rock disc.

Does the vocalist sound like Drew Hannah from Wildside when he screams or is it just me???

From: dudemetal1 Date: April 8, 2007 at 23:36
Great Cd if you're into L.A.Guns and Sleaze Metal in General

From: z4roxx Date: May 18, 2007 at 4:26
Agree with others here. Not great but very good and solid hair metal/glam release.Good prodution, some great riffs and a good singer, too.Sincerely don't like so much only the ballads,a little anonymous ones...BTW my rate would be 8.5/10.

From: zoomanthree Date: December 15, 2008 at 7:56

From: 20gunsalute Date: September 29, 2009 at 0:29
I really wanted to like this, but this just kind of falls flat for me. It rocks in places, but overall it seems to have no substance, nothing memorable, just kind of ordinary sleaze rock

From: rick kerch vzla Date: April 23, 2011 at 18:38
Pretty wild Sleaze Glam album!!!...really good songs of a band that has a great bass player(Jimi Mui)...best shots are "Love Ain't Nothin' Without Sex"(really true ),"Get Out Of My Face","Nature Of The Beast"(amazing bass!),"Don't Like You Anymore" & "Blood Machine"...get it!.94/100

excellent release for FINSTER BABY bringing to the NYC scene their glam sleaze thing ,similar to bands like FASTER PUSSYCAT or ALLEYCAT SCRATCH!love it from start to finish even though some songs are just fillers and could be better!"forgot your name again","going under" and "take a lick n see" are great rockers !they dont make it like that anymore
