Maybe it's just me, but I found this box-set to be a bitter disappointment. I burned 4 or 5 songs then sold the whole thing. There's a reason most of these tunes didn't make the album cuts: they were filler material at best. Sure, the packaging is professional and it was cool of the band to dig into their vaults and let the fans hear these songs, but now, having heard them, this particular fan feels no need whatsoever to have it in his collection. Premier packaging, bargain-basement songs. |

a disco cd! at least the cover looks like that of a techno cd - bonjovi trying to imitate david bowie? HAHAHAHA!!! they all look more like gary glitter on the cd cover if you ask me! in the 80´s they ruled, but now to me they are nothing more than a joke! |

Personally, I didn't think there were too many "gems" on these 4 discs. The Dvd wasn't of much value either. dissappointing. |

A great idea on paper, but like has already been said, there's a reason these songs were never released. I culled about 1 CD's worth of songs from the entire set, and the rest was a waste of my listening time. However, I love the entire concept behind this package, and I wish that bands like Kiss and / or Aerosmith would do something in the same vein. |

This album have good and average songs and some fillers too but is worth listening.Cd # 3 is the most balanced one except for Tico's funny filler song with an extraordinaire bad voice (he'd better stay behind the drum kit!!!).Also in the other cd's you can find songs such as "We Rule The Night" (great kind of "Heavy Metal" song)or "Nobodys Hero" that is ended with a raw version of "Living On A Prayer".The demo version of "Always" is more emotive than the one that got a place in the "These Days" album. In general lines not bad but neither essential.85/100 |

Nice collection of Bon Jovi unreleased songs.some of this stuff are very good but there are also many fillers and average stuff.cd 4 is the best IMO.Best songs are River Runs Dry,Always demo,Out of Bounds,We Rule the Night and The Radio Saved my Life Tonight.I would recommend this compilation to all BJ fans-nice addition. |
From: hair metal again | Date: July 20, 2011 at 2:53 |
this is for die hard fans only.it includes plenty of songs from the vault and a dvd with interesting stuff.most of the songs aren t so good but you get an idea why Jon changed his sound through the years.best moment is the masterpiece "edge of a broken heart" and the worst is a song written for Cobain! |
From: fireforce kai | Date: July 21, 2011 at 21:07 |
This is a massive collection of Bon Jovi unreleased songs and b-sides from all the band's eras. Thus, the quality of them varies from killer tracks to terrible fillers. However, as a BJ die-hard fan, it surprised me with some gems not avaliable anywhere on bootlegs, like "We Rule The Night", "Out Of Bounds", "Rivers Run Dry" (great ballad), the demo of "Always", "Radio Saved My Life Tonight" and "Love Ain't Nothin But..." (the demo without horns)are the best songs here. |
