If you notice that a particular Bon Jovi CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. 3/10 the ugliest bj cd of all time.

From: george_the_jack Date: November 10, 2009 at 10:54
Don't know if this is their worst but it's a plain average modern radio-rock release of our days.

Had a copy in my hand yesterday and just looking at the cover I changed my mind. After reading the above comments I'm glad I did!!

great album, not sensational, but great, even if all the intros are weaks you have to wait one minute and says "finally it is a good song".this cd s is soft,.... perfect for radios(even frenches).bad news bon jovi is definitively not a hard rock band, finish the good time of the five fantastics first hard fm albums.good news finish the time when john bon jovi was a sad clone of bruce sprinsteen.now they plays a very good american variety oriented rock.john richie and co are high class musicians and songwriters so they can play music that they wants it will be never bad.i am sure that my wife will love this cd s, me i like it even if i regret the first albums .

Most folks seem ready to toss this CD into the nearest bonfire like an Inquisitionist burning a heretic, but there's really no justification for that kind of hatred. Sure, the fist-pumping pop-metal anthems of Bon Jovi's yesteryears are every bit as vanished as Jon's long hair, but in their place are solid American rock tunes that are both poignant (sometimes overly so..."When we Were Beautiful" is a travesty of a song that even U2 would be embarrassed to write) as well as catchy. No, this is not the return to form that long-time fans continue to hope for, but it's a perfectly serviceable modern rock CD. Still, that's damning by faint praise, and we can all continue to pray that Bon Jovi one day truly comes full circle and serves up another bona fide hard rock album.

It just seems that they could not quite carry on with the momentum of Lost Highway. The included DVD is pretty cool though. Talk about ruling your kingdom; Jon breathe brotha...and let your band mates have a say once in awhile.

Gotta agree with the Maniac here. This is by no means a great disc and it's certainly not Bon Jovi circa 1986. but it's a pretty good rock album. 'We weren't born to follow' is a very cool opener and stuff like 'Superman Tonight', 'Bullet', 'Thorn in my side' and 'Fast cars' is good too. And my favourite song is the nice melodic rocker, 'Love's the only rule'. Overall, the ballads still pretty much suck but this is a decent disc. Not as good as 'Have a nice day' (bonus track included) but some of their best song writing since 'These days'.

I LOVE IT..!

Ok, so my first opinion on hearing this back when it came out was "Hmmm, ok in places, but seems to be a lot of U2 influences here and there". It did grow on me though. Now, months later, after seeing the band live for the first time in 14 years, I decided to give this a spin again, and it just gets better and better. One thing I noticed is that there are not what you would call any ballads. Yeah, there are some slower paced songs, but none of the traditional Bon Jovi hit love songs. For me its defo a stronger album that LH and HAND, but the songs really come into their own in the live environment, thats for sure.

I don't own any Bon Jovi cd after New Jersey. I say grow your hair back long and release an album like the first 4.

i d say that this one is an ok release.unfortunately no classic hard rock sound but a radio friendly fm rock .the production is perfect and the songs are fine.the problem is that there aren t any big choruses and i cant find a hit.after a few spins it feels better though!

The best band in the world has done it again! Songs like Happy Now, Thorn In My Side, Brokenpromisedland, Work For the working man, Love is the only rule, Live before u die and the single We weren't born to follow is just pure class! The production is top notch and once again proves that they are the nr 1 act in the world!!

Great album ,the best of the last 10 years at least...people who dont recocnize the value of this album are stuck up in the new jersey days...get over it bon jovi still write great rock songs in a different way...

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 3, 2013 at 19:26
Obviously this ain't the real Bon Jovi we all loved in the past...pop songs with a modern touch and the almost called rock tunes of the album doesn't make a difference between one and the others to be honest..."We Weren't Born To Follow"(first hit single),"When We Were Beautiful","Work For The Working Man","Thorn In My Side","Brokenpromiseland"(probably my fave)& "Happy Now" are the ones that i liked the best...70/100....how we miss the good old days...
