buena musica a pesar de todas las pesimas criticas que ha recibido este disco. Posiblemente no lo que se esperaria de la banda, pero aun asi mas que correcto.

For me a Very good album with only 3 tracks that I don' t like, those being '(You Want To) Make A Memory, 'I Love This Town' & 'Lonely'. The rest are all good songs. Yes maybe a VERY slight country edge on a few tracks - the Leann Rimes duet being one, but way off the mark to label this a Country album. Lighter, more Acoustic based on some songs for sure, but typical Bon Jovi on quite a few others and some nice subtle solo's from Sambora as well.

...Those craving more 'Slippery' and 'New Jersey' and non BJ fans in general, ain't going to like it and will slag them like they always do and always will do (maybe some of these might even listen to it before doing so), but in the end there is no doubt that this is a pretty damned good album in places and a big surprise after a few recent patchy releases.

Not one of the greatest Jovi albums, but far from their worst. Its not an album full of country songs like some would have you believe, and its not a million miles away from the last few Jovi CDs (excluding a certain "reworked" aongs album), but its just too easy for people to slag off Jovi these days because you dont wanna admit you still like them!

He He He for me Jovi dead with album "New Jersey".He play only comercial shit.

Y ESTO QUE ES??? EN DONDE QUEDO LO BUENO DE ESTA BANDA?

From: rick kerch vzla Date: July 7, 2007 at 12:11
If you like Tom Petty or Bruce Springteen then this is your album. The influence of the artists mentioned are undoubteable!.Bon Jovi has lot the creativeness that once filled his career...i mean this ain't a bad album but you have to forget the glorious past of the band ("Slippery...","New Jersey",ect)and as i said if you like Mr Petty or Mr Springteen buy it otherwise avoid it.For me 7/10 but for what Bon Jovi was all about 4/10

Well...again it isn't a hard rock album. This one has a country touch and it's not bad. I like the title track, one step closer and the duet with LeAnn Rimes. If you love hard rock only, avoid this one.

From: jmikep Date: July 18, 2007 at 14:26
Maybe the best since These Days. The only songs that I don't like are "Everybody's Broken" and "The Last Night". My favorites are easily "Whole Lotta Leavin'" and "Any Other Day." As has been said, don't let the "country cross-over" aspect fool you. This is still very much a modern Bon Jovi rock album, and for my money, it was a job well done.

From: Geoff Date: July 20, 2007 at 2:43
Not a bad album at all. 'Whole lotta leavin' and 'We got it goin' on' are two of the worst songs I've ever heard, but aside from that and a few others there are some cool songs here. 'Summertime' is a great feel-good anthem and 'Any other day', 'The last night' and 'One step closer' are three melodic gems. Damn I love these 3 songs. 'You want to make a memory' is another highlight. A few too many ballads overall, but helped by some good songs inbetween.

el disco no es malo, a mi me gusto..al igual que los 3 ultimos de ellos..tan criticados negativamente, pero que a mi me siguen gustando, asi tengan los cambios que tengan..

You have to give him credit for still being viable 20 years after "Slippery" and still one of the biggest rock bands out there. He's moved with the times but musically I have not been musically satisfied by Jon since 'New Jersey'. As an AOR fanatic his first three releases were so good and major highlights of the genre. This does nothing for me or fans of that ilk. 40/100

Congradualtions to BJ for making a good "country" album. However, this is not a rock album. I am disappointed in BJ for jumping on the country bandwagon, sucessful=YES, $$=YES. I will be honest, I don't like this album, I like good country (Brooks&Dunn), but this bores the hell out of me. If it was released as a Jon Bon Jovi album...it might be acceptable. I think BJ may have lost a lot of respect from their hardcore fan base with this one. PROS: tracks #5,12,16 CONS: Its a BJ country album! "C"

This album is too gay.

Haven't got this yet,but heard the first single Lost Highway, they sound like a Country band.

There are certain things that often exceeding my faculties to comprehend them. For example: why the canary birds are yellow? Do penguins have knees? How is chess considered a sport? Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food? Do they have girl’s bathrooms in gay bars? Has Bon Jovi totally lost his mind? So many questions with no evident answers…

From: AORside_it's vital Date: February 7, 2008 at 2:35
This is such a major disappointment… So sad… Bon Jovi was one of the few hard rock icons that had remained in the genre up to now. Let’s hope that this is just a negative chapter, otherwise R.I.P. +

Woops! Jon Bon Jovi has sold out again. This album in my opinion was only released to capitalse on a few redneck southern Americans who liked Who Says You Can't Home. He sucks so bad, I feel sorry for the rest of the band (as they are actually talented). It's all money for him, when will he decide to release at least something with one or two decent songs.

Best album since These Days.

From: kai Date: August 17, 2008 at 15:14
Warning : If your´re looking for a hard rock/AOR album, or something similar than Bon Jovi has done in the 80s, stay away from this one! This is a country rock album, filled with mid tempo songs, acoustic guitars and ballads. The only two songs reminiscent of old Bon Jovi are "We Got It Going On" and the Japanese bonus track "Put The Boy Back In Cowboy". Overall, it´s a listenable album, but it´s not hard rock.

Listening to this again...well i still stick to my comment of 2007...ok it has some goodies such as "Lost Highway","Summertime"(catchy),"Whole Lot Of Leavin'","We Got It Going On","Any Other Day" & "One Step Closer" but far far far away from BOn Jovi's glorious days...75/100

From: Planet Y Date: December 28, 2022 at 11:01
A very coherent, well written and played album. Production is stronger than on the previous couple of releases and all in all, for me, this is the strongest album the band released in the 21st century. 80/100.
