This is realy great melodic metal/hard rock that sound very much like HEARTBREAK by SABU. Pure 1985 melodic metal the way we all love it. On some songs D.REECE is singing(ACCEPT and BANGALORE CHOIR fame). Very good songs. A real buy or die release and better then their second album. |

Sincerely I did expect more than this lost material, some good song but the rest is really average. Some good recording and some filler.I must consider only the time of recordings so my rate here could be 7,5/10. |

Good collection of Hard Rock/AOR songs by Dare Force. 20 (a few fillers) songs on this cd makes it worth checking out. Fave songs are Not Gonna Let You Hurt Me, Makin' Our Own Rules and Pushin' Your Luck. Rated 7/10. |

That’s incredible but among this material there isn t a single song at the same level of”Firepower”release. The style is the same,I appreciate the B.Bart’r work but the rst is very weak and a little anonymous.20 songs and maybe 2/3 decent tracks.BTW this is 10 times better than Blue Tears lost recordings indeed but any comparison with their 1989 only official cd. |

Really good MHR/AOR, yeah sound like demos but there are great songs here. "Not Gonna Let You Hurt Me" is among my favorite tracks. Enjoyable album. 7.8/10 |

For me its follower is much more appealing because it has an AOR/Melodic Hard Rock based tendency, this one is more of a Melodic Heavy Hard Rock feel with probably also a few songs on the edge of AOR as well but nothing to do with the quality that are on the aforementioned "Fire Power" release ...my faves in here are 1(rocks good!),3,4(AOR feel),5(rocks good!),6,8,10( ),11( ),14(AORish),17(AORish)& 19(AORish)...85/100 |

Note: this is a collection of 2 records on 1 cd. ""Makin'..." and "Dare Force" both from 1985 the 2nd one before this re-release was available only on tape, afaIk. |
