If you notice that a particular Honky Toast CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Easily the worst fuckin' CD I ever bought. One decent song: 'Shakin' and a Bakin',' a VERY MINOR radio hit for about two weeks in the spring of '99. The rest? Putrid!

As I was saying. Think of an extremely low-rent Faster Pussycat. Toast is a dead-ringer, vocally, for Taime Downe, but the rest? FPC with boring playing and lame-ass jokes, as you might guess from the song titles.

I remember standing in Sam Goody in 1999, with this CD in one hand and Buckcherry's debut in the other, debating which one to go for. I went with Honky Toast to save a lousy two bucks, and immediately regretted it. This CD is TERRIBLE! "Shakin' And A Bakin'" is stupid, but catchy and fairly rockin', kinda like a lost Faster Pussycat B-side from the first album. The rest is bad novelty music. It was a time when there was suddenly a renewed interest in "hair metal," which is the only reason these guys got a deal and a minor radio hit. I guess props are owed to Frank (Ferrer( B. Butter, who managed to parlay this shit into a job as Axl Rose's current drummer. Tim, I'd send you this disc if I still had it, but I don't.
