| I like it! Less screaming than "Angel Down." Musical contributions from John 5, Steve Stevens and Duff McKagan help to fill the void of Nick Sterling from the previous album, “Kicking and Screaming.” They seem to help keep Bach “focused.” Laid back cover version of April Wine song is a bit out of place, but still a quality song.

| Surprisingly, Bach's voice ISN'T front and center on this album, but back in the mix a bit, for the most part flying just above thick slabs of riffs. The guitars are sometimes modern-chunky, and mostly down-tuned, but just to D, so it's not like total heaviosity. Still, folks stilll pining for the first Skid Row album might as well get over it already; those days are gone and they ain't comin' backk. For his part, Bas sounds great as always--dude can still sing his ass off. There are few "hooks" in the 1989 sense of the word, but melodies galore, although many are slow-paced. I dig it better than Kicking And Sccreaming, but Angel Down is still my favorite among Bach's solo albums, just for its over-the-top heaviness and ferocity.

| Nothing really earth-shattering here on Sebastian's 4th solo effort. Certainly seemed a little more lighter in nature than compared to "Kicking & Screaming" or "Angel Down". This seems to be more modern nu-metal type of an album. Did not interest me as much as the previous two efforts, the songs seem a little rushed in writing - could have stood a bit more time to revisit some of them for a better mature sounding songs. I hate to use the word "trendy" here for metal sounding albums, but this album more or less falls into that category. One could stand to listen to this album 1 maybe 3 times at most, shelve it and more or less would be forgotten. HIGHLIGHT TRACKS: #1,3,4,7,9 MY RATING: 70/100

| Baz may be an insufferable bastard to be around, but boy can he sing. He's back with another solo effort and the law of diminishing returns has been to exert its influence, as this is a several stumbling steps down from his last couple of albums. Sebastian has steadfastly refused to give fans what they really want--an album that sounds exactly like classic Skid Row--but he at least delivered some pretty decent modern metal. Unfortunately, this latest offering is fairly forgettable. Not horrible, just ... mediocre. Bach may have wanted to give us hell, but he forgot to bring the sizzle.
