This one is a total mixed bag. Pretty high quality all around with solid riffs, dead-on vocal harmonies, and some kick ass leads. The Coverdale worship is pretty still pretty evident but now there's some parts of TNT, Lynch Mob, and even Stryper thrown in for good measure. While I'm not really into the ones with the strong Coverdale influence, I'm sure a high majority of others will be. It's the other tunes that really strike a chord with me. Easily 8/10

BTW- for those interested this is Fernando Garcia(ex-Victory) singing on this disc. His prescence def. brings the band to the next level. It's time for people to start checking these guys out.

This disc just plain ROCKS!!! I love it. My only complaint would be that the choruses get a little buried in the production, but I can overlook that. Solid 9 out of 10!

These guys know how to rock and deliver an album of hard rock–varied in pace between mid and uptempo, with only one track that comes anything close to a slow ballad. The mix is excellent as expected, but the production quality may not be quite as good as the debut – this is a little muddy in places–especially with the keyboard sound. This is an above average slice of European hard rock.

Not in the same ball park as the classic 'Reflected' album. The vocals of Garcia are good but i don't think you can replace the brilliance of Robert Soeterboek. This is still a good album and the track 'Dying With The Wind' is awesome and i would have loved to hear Soeterboek sing that song. The production is not as good as the first album which does not help as well , but still they are a great band.

I'm a huge Victory fan, but regardless of that fact, I thought this album was much better than the excellent debut. There just seems to be a lot more emphasis on big, striking melodic hard rock choruses on this album. Songs like 'Back to my bed' are just spectacular, and while I really dig both albums and both vocalists, this is my personal fave. Killer CD.

Fancy meeting you here again Rene, but I heard this again the other night and knew I had to return too. This disc is, as it states, 'Exceptional'! It just blew me away the other night. 9 and 11 are cool songs, but the other 9 on this disc (minus the intro) are simply f*cking amazing songs. I counted 9 tracks that just blew my mind!!! I knew it was good, but I'd have to re-do my best of 2004 list with this in the top 5... easily. F*cking killer disc!!!

I wouldn't call it exceptional, but it is pretty good. I don't see the Coverdale comparisons. The singer reminds of someone, but I can't seem to remember who. It's not Mr. Whitesnake though.

This one is growing on me, I've had it in my car for a week or so now. The first 5-6 tracks really rock. I think the singers dad must be Glenn Hughes, because that's who he sounds like.

Excellent melodic rock album with Mr Garcia on vocals and giving a different tone of voice than when he was in Victory.Nice semi-ballads such as 'Dying with the wind' and rockers such as 'Shining Light' gives credits to the album.8/10

Another Review deleted that i commentted many years ago. I bought this one after hearing "Reflected", sadly Robert Soeterboek is not here but Tiro Loco Garcia does his job very well. Very Good Melodic HardRock indeed. "Culture Killed The Native" is a Masterpiece and is better than this by faaar IMO. "Your Beat Inside My Heart" and "Shining Light" are my favorite tracks. Solid Album but i still prefer their album debut. 8.5/10

Yeah guys Fernando "El Toro Loco" Garcia (Victory fame) sang in here, more melodic than the edgy kind of singing he used in Victory but very approachable to the band's needs..."Shining Light" as i said way back in 2007 is a great catchy rocking track,"Your Beat Inside My Heart","The One You Love Ain't Me","Exceptional" & "Rain On Me"...all these songs are top notch!!!...if i have to select one,i'd go to "Dying With The Wind"...recommended album...91/100
