One of the top 10 definitive 'hair metal' albums of all time. Every song on here is singable and rocks. Even the 'Yeah you want it' goof off is funny and drops lots of band names. Great CD!! Ted Poley is the MAN!!!

From my point, this is the best danger danger album. If you like AOR and play guitar you'll enjoy with every Andy's note. Contains three of my all times favourites songs 'Crazy Nites' , 'I still think about you' and 'Don't blame it on love'. ecunado@iespana.es

From: Steve T Date: February 26, 2002 at 14:43
It's not a bad album by any means but nowhere near their best. The production was a little lightweight and some of the songs were just not good enough. Andy Timmons makes this album all that it is.

From: dokken6008 Date: March 17, 2002 at 5:55
I always loved Danger Danger for 2 reasons: one, Ted Poley. And two, Andy Timmons. Ted has one of the coolest & most recognisable voices in rock 'n' roll & Andy kicks some serious ass on the guitar (check out the electric riffs he whips out after the first thirty seconds or so in 'Beat The Bullet'). I always loved 'Screw It' for its pure rockin'ess but I still would have to say that D2's best album of all time is their first, even with all the keyboards & everything. It is a true pop metal gem.

From: Tony Date: April 10, 2002 at 0:28
My favorite 'hair metal' album of all time. For this genre of music this album is perfect. Love every song and for the life of me can't understand why bands like Firehouse & Slaughter wet gold while these guys remained a footnote of the time. Perfect pop-metal that doesn't take itself too seriously!!

I agree with Tony, this is the best D2 album. Great party metal. My favorites are Don't blame it on love and Everybody want some.

This has to be one of my most prized possessions...Ted Poley has the voice of an angel! Every single song is an absolute gem and they are among the greatest songs to dance to ever. His new band Melodica are too good for words...long live Ted Poley!!!!

From: Sean Kaufman Date: April 17, 2002 at 0:10
very good album... has some really good song's on it...my favorite song on the album is Everybody's want's some...I recommend this album...

a must have in any serious glam collection-without this piece you havent got a taste of music!!!!!

''Slipped Her the Big One' awesome, Unbeliveable song, it makes you feel like an animal. A must for anybody who loves hair metal.

From: Jenni Date: June 2, 2002 at 20:23
Beat the Bullet and I still think about you ( I am sucker for a ballad) are two of my favorites. I like the first Danger Danger CD, better. Nothing beats the new Melodica stuff though. Ted Poley takes you back to the glorious late 80's with that stuff.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: June 13, 2002 at 19:07
'Get Your Shit Together' and 'Monkey Business' are the only two songs that I remember from this album. I always thought that this band was weak. The biggest problem I have is his voice, very weak. If you like cheese hair rock than you will like this cheese album.

From: Kim Date: June 14, 2002 at 15:12
Jason, for once I agree with you. I really liked Danger Dangers first release, and remember buying this one as an Import. Way too expensive. I was so dissapointed. The only thing I remember about it the track. Im a Horny S.O B........Mainly because when it came out...I was.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: June 14, 2002 at 16:28
Thats cool TJ........ My two favorite bands of the 80's are TESLA and CINDERELLA. My all time favorite goup is AC/DC!! AND Hey!, I will let Danger Danger open up for Cinderella anytime. I'll just show up late for that show. lol

From: TJ Date: June 14, 2002 at 16:33
JASON... I ALSO LIKE AC/DC TOO ... PREFERRABLY THE BACK IN BLACK , FOR THOSE BOUT TO ROCK ERA. CINDERELLA IS A FAV TOO . YOUR NOT SO BAD AFTER ALL..LOL! PEACE OUT

Man! what an album I love this one and the first one equally. I always listened to tracks 1,2,3,5,6,8,9. But I just discovered 'comin Home' man that song is so awesome. It has awesome beats, great vocals, the bass sticks out the most along with the acoustic guitar. Keep rockin friends!

From: dokken6008 Date: July 21, 2002 at 7:21
R.R., 'Comin' Home' was one of the FIRST tunes I came to love off 'Screw It'. Well, that and the reason I decided to buy the album, 'Beat The Bullet'. Top-notch pop-metal. You keep rocking too, man.

From: James Date: July 21, 2002 at 13:08
I love the first two D2 albums and the Cockroach album is something i need to get. ps, if you really like this band's early stuff then you have to try ATTRACTON. Their best song may be Summer Days but the whole album is just fun melodic rock in the style of D2, Poison, Firehouse....

Personalmente este disco es muy bueno pero no tanto como el primero.Pero ahun as' le doy un 9'5/10

From: Steve T Date: September 5, 2002 at 6:40
Nothing earth shattering here. The album has a poor production, nowhere NEAR enough bottom end, but benefits immensely from having Andy Timmons play on it. Some good songs but also some hit and miss stuff. Better than the debut though.

GREATEST AND BEST CD PURCHASE OF 2002 HANDS DOWN. I actually thought 'Danger Danger-S/T' was a little too key-boardy and pretty much disregaurded them as anything I wanted to get into until I picked up 'Screw It.' Like 'Hardline- Double Eclipse' or 'AC/DC-Highway to Hell' this CD NEVER lets you down with any fillers or 'just ok' songs. To me, this is the perfect blend of 'Danger Danger,' and they hit exactly what this band is all about. Sweet CD, awesome songs, KILLER artwork. SEE YA

This is a really good album. Great melodic hard rock! I personally like: I Still Think About You,Crazy Nites, Everybody Wants Some, and Dont Blame It On Love the best.

From: Janxy Date: January 1, 2003 at 19:04
I remember the anticipation up to the release of this album and the subsequent disappointment I felt on first spin. Of course the band would not be afforded the same high production values of the S/T release, but for my ears they went a little too narrow band on the vocals. Surely they didn't consciously choose to make the vox sound like they were being played from a cheap mono radio that distorts! Mostly great songs still shine through here but better production would have placed them in orbit.

From: Ernest Date: February 4, 2003 at 15:06
Screw it is the last good album of D2 and I really don't understand why they are still recording albums,I'm sorry shits !I'm big D2 fan,but eary albums only are worth.

From: reebboy Date: February 26, 2003 at 7:11
For some reason I didn't find this CD that exciting. It had some really good songs but overall I didn't find it that great compared to their first CD.

From: Gar Date: February 26, 2003 at 22:33
I think I like this one just as much as their first. This one seems to have a whole 'nother attitude than the somewhat keyboard heavy debut. Both are very good albums, but SCREW IT rocks harder.

From: freddy de keyze Date: February 27, 2003 at 12:52
Certainly not their best CD. This is more average hardrock and much weaker than their debut, which was class. This isn't !

From: JC Date: April 10, 2003 at 13:48
I agree, the first D2 album was too 'keyboardey.' This album, however, is the essence of early 90's hard rock. Got your staple ballad (I still think about you), a nod to our teenage years (Crazy Nites), and of course, tons of songs about sex. I do agree that Ted's voice is kinda weak, but I think the strengh of the band as a whole pulls this album together. I give it a 9.5.

DD is the best hard rock band of all the times........Crazy Nites, Don't Blame it on Love and Beat The Bullet are classics of this album! Do you guys like Pretty Boy Floyd??? This band is great too!!!! But DD is better!!!!! Always!!!!

From: The Fizzy One Date: June 21, 2003 at 0:25
I can remember standing in a record store in Salisbury, MD in February of '92, trying to decide between this or SOundgarden. I went with SOundgarden, and I should've bought Danger Danger instead. But over time, I guess my tastes have changed, because I finally did get ahold of this a few weeks ago ... and I can't really get into it. Nothing really wrong with it, except Ted Poley sounds kinda gay at times ('Find Your Way Back Home'), but I guess I'm more into harder music nowadays. The Fizz Picks

From: Fizz Again Date: June 21, 2003 at 0:29
... As I was saying: The Fizz Picks: 'Slipped Her the Big One,' 'I Still THink About You,' 'Crazy Nites,' 'Horny S.O.C.' and the shredding little gag track 'Puppet Show.'

From: T-Bone Date: June 21, 2003 at 4:57
The Fizz makes a weird point on this one. Although I liked D2 musically, Ted Poley's voice has always had a weird sound to it. Kind of like he's plugging his nose and singing. Don't get me wrong, I love D2, In fact I love both versions of D2, but Ted just sounds weird on some songs.

From: James Date: July 31, 2003 at 21:03
the song 'I Still Think About You' should be a classic. it is one of the best ballads of all time. As for the rest of the cd I think it is very good. i have to give it a 9/10. Love this thing

From: Date: October 2, 2003 at 21:22
This is a fair album, but what makes this band good are the band members. My band 'Winged Assassins' opened 16 times for DD during a club tour they undertook in Oct/Nov '91. We had the best time you could ever imagine. They hung out and partied with us all bar 2 nights...Beautiful girls, booze, illicit substances, great music, it still remains the best 3 and a half weeks of my life. Our band broke up in Aug 1993...BOO HOO!!!

From: Date: January 6, 2004 at 15:35
I think this is a very good album, with a good sense of humour. Vocalist is really good. Andy Timmons is a very talented guitar player who also done admirable work with/for Kip Winger (who is one of the most talented guy). Believe this album is one of the best in that style.

From: 80sMetal1 Date: March 4, 2004 at 16:42
One of my favorite cd's of all time, bar none. And definitely D2's best in their catalog. An awesome mix of smooth vocals and killer melodic axes. Crazy Nights is probably my favorite song here, while Monkey Business, Beat The Bullet, Get Your Shit Together, and Horny S.O.B. are just top notch as well. Just about everything on here rocks! One of the best hard rock cd's ever!!! NO SHIT!!!

From: Carmine Rose Date: April 4, 2004 at 10:34

As a die hard fan of the type of music featured on this site, I can say with confidence, this cd is what killed 80's rock, not grunge.

From: MB Date: April 29, 2004 at 19:36
What !????? oh well

From: Vini Date: April 30, 2004 at 15:38
Is the best band of Hard Rock, and Andy Timmons, is perfect, Beat the Bullet,is my favorite songs of my life.

From: Gar Date: May 1, 2004 at 7:02
Actualy Queifer, what killed this style of music is the same thing that ultimately killed grunge: overexposure. 'Hair metal' bands were running rampant during the late 80s/early 90s, so it was unavoidable that those bands would fall out of favor. Band like Nirvana just happened to come along at the right time when radio and MTV were looking for the 'New flavor'. Thankfully, the hair-era lasted quite a bit longer than the Grunge movement.

From: Gar Date: May 1, 2004 at 7:05
'Hair metal' will never again reach the popularity level it once had, but it's obvious from this site and many others that people are still into it. As long as people are still listening to the music it can never die.

From: QUEIFER Date: May 3, 2004 at 17:10
Gar, you are correct, 'Hair metal' bands were running rampant during the late 80s/early 90s. The problem was the music industry signing/public buying, every hair band they could find, D2 being a prime example. Quality control was out the window. Their first album was generic at best and 'Screw it', is a joke. The album is contrived drivel, one 'cock rock' cliche' after another. You can have well crafted fun songs, 'Screw it' on the other hand has as much depth as a potato chip commercial.

From: Gabriel Alves Date: June 17, 2004 at 4:39
This one it's better than their first record. They do very good melodic songs, but when it gets to be more heavy rock and less melodic they fail!!! Their heavier songs are harmonically poor. In general the record is good because there are good songs like Beat The Bullet, Crazy Nites and Don't Blame It On Love. In the other hand, I wouldn't buy this record if there was only songs like Get Your Shit Together and Horny S.O.B.

From: Big Papa K Date: June 26, 2004 at 1:06
Improvement over the first one, but they go for overkill with all the cock rock cliches. An album where the lyrics should not have been printed in the booklet. The ballads are all strong, even if they are a little generic. A few of the rockers are good such as 'Don't Blame It On Love' and 'Beat the Bullet'. Tracks such as 'Horny S.O.B.' and 'Yeah You Want It' have no place being on a hard rock album. 6/10

Some sleaze-glam fans will call this a gem. Other melodic rock and AOR fans will call this a disaster. I am a fan of both and feel it's somewhere in between, a pretty average 80's style rock release. It does have some horrendous songs, though, and there is a section where Poley raps. The album starts off an a high note however, with a track that sounds like it would fit in with their first album, Monkey Business. But the only other song I really like is the ballad I Still Think About You. 4/10

From: jack Date: September 3, 2004 at 4:06
MAN,these guys sucks compared to cinderella or dokken. They are so poppy like those trixter boys. The only songs i like from danger danger is the solo of groove or die from their previous album. This guys were just some rip off of poison and warrant. Poison are ten times the band they are(i'm sure i'll get plenty of stick for saying this)!

From: jack Date: September 3, 2004 at 4:08
And when you look at those songs name, they are exactly the type of name poison will put-this imply that they were imitator of poison except they will never be poison.

From: Blue Charvel Date: September 3, 2004 at 9:59
Personally I like the musicianship on this MUCH better than Poison. Timmons is a smokin' guitarist. I also like this a lot better than the debut which I thought was pretty weak (now I'll get 'stick' for saying that no doubt...) .

From: Geoff Date: September 5, 2004 at 2:12
Firstly, these guys were not Poison imitators, and in time have proved they are the much better band (Though I love Poison of old, look at the last two D2 releases compared to the last 2 Poison releases!). This was one of the first melodic hard rock releases I EVER got, well before the debut and I still love it to death today. 'Monkey Business' is a commercial hard rock gem,'Slipped Her the Big One' is one of the most mischievious songs ever, and an all-time fave of mine,'Beat the Bullet' and 'C

From: Geoff Date: September 5, 2004 at 2:13
'Crazy nites' are melodic hard rock at its best and 2 of my faves,'I Still Think About You' is the biggest cliche ballad ever but hey, I absolutely LOVE this track,'Don't Blame it on Love' is an absolute KILLER melodic hard rocker and probably my single fave track ff the album,'Comin' Home' is a nice sentimental ballad, 'Horny S.O.B.' is so bad it's awesome - I love it! 'Find Your Way Back Home' is a nice ballad, and overall it's just a fantastic commercial hard rock CD with perfect vocals.

From: jack Date: September 6, 2004 at 6:35
Poison imitator or not, crzy nites sounds like a rip off from 'fallen angel'-all those hollywood type songs while 'i still think about you' is just a copy combination of warrant's heaven and sometimes she cries. yaeh, you want it is a rap rock songs.rap is something that ican't stand. The only decent songs on this album is puppet show which is a great solo and monkey business.

From: motleylover4lif Date: September 6, 2004 at 11:11
WHAT? This is an excellent album. How can anybody not like this cd? If you talk about ripping other bands off then you won't like any kind of music. All bands rip other bands off. Especially in this music genre. What do you think killed it in the end?

From: jack Date: September 7, 2004 at 4:03
I guess you are right! Hanging in the library too much must have fried my brain. Rip off from another band is not bad since the same thing goes for britny fox from cinderella, faster pussycat from gun'n'roses, gun'n'roses from hanoi rock, warrant from poison, white lion from bon jovi, bon jovi from bruce springsteen etc and all of them are great band.

Some good tunes on here but they definitely should've stayed away from all the cock-rock cliches as Big Papa K said. 'Beat The Bullet', 'Monkey Business' and 'Everybody Wants Some' are good rockers and 'I Still Think About You' is a good power ballad. Good release but nowhere near the stellar debut.

From: Chad Date: October 29, 2004 at 20:26
Great party album. Slipped her the big one, Don't blame it on love and Beat the bullet are the standouts. Ted Poley carries the album which I don't think is the case with the other DD albums. The songs are much stronger on the debut and even the albums that follow this release. Great cover on this one too.

From: TIM (2) Date: November 1, 2004 at 2:55
This album must have the most extreme highs and lows of anything I've ever heard. One minute they're delivering killer MHR in the form of 'Don't Blame it on Love', or 'Crazy Nites', or 'Monkey Business', the next minute it's utter cliched cheese like 'Horny S.O.B' or 'Slipped Her the Big One'. If you use the skip-button on your CD then you can filter the rubbish to find a very good MHR CD. A million miles from the debut of course, but way better than most of what followed. 7/10.

Awsome cd , Ted Is very good , Love the voice. one of my favorite cd

From: Kryiis Karl Date: November 6, 2004 at 4:23
Not taking themselves too seriously, lot of fun but also lot great songs. This Cd still rules and is consitent. It respects the codes of the genre, not very innovative, but what is done here is perfectly done. A reference with musicianship of another calibre than in Poison or Warrant for example.

no esta mal este disco tiene canciones que son una puta obra maestra, pero otras vaja el disco ha ser un disco normal

Absoloute killer album. A little more attitude than the first record, which was an AOR masterpiece, which makes it sound fresh to this day. I love cheese, especially 'slipped her the big one', 'monkey business', and the 'cheesiest of them all 'crazy nights' which brings a smile to the face & laughs in the face of those overly serious AOR guys. I love AOR as much as the next guy, but come the weekend I want to have a blast and this is the CD that will always get the adrenelin going. Get it now!!!

If you love the hard rock scene from the late 80's early 90's then this is a must have! IMO there are maybe a dozen must have's from this era, and this album is one of them! Ted sounds great and Andy makes this record perfect! Big choruses, big guitars and a great party vibe throughout this album. Not a bad track here, but my faves are, Everybody Wants Some, Slipped Her The Big One, Don't Blame It On Love and Coming Home. Fantastic album. 10/10....

From: cort Date: April 9, 2005 at 15:06
I'm sorry but the rating above 9./10 is over doing it !!The first song,'Monkey Business' is freakin' awesome!!!After that though they dropped the ball on this one!!To much cliche like 'Get your sh*t together' and 'Slipped her the big one'!!I never got the first one so I can't compare but I did hear 'Bang Bang' and liked it alot!So 2 re-cap;Monkey Business, the song(Awesome)Screw It,the album(average at best)That's my humble opinion.

Rocker and Aussie Dave hit the nail here. This is perfect late 80's early 90's melodic hardrock at its very best. I got my copy today via schmankerl-records.com and i thought after their sensational debut these guys would have a hard time with coming up with something spectacular again. But nope they did it again. Essential album for every melodic hardrock lover. Top 9/10

From: Erik Date: April 26, 2005 at 8:24
Sorry guys but this is so damn good. Its blasting out of my speakers as we 'speak'. Did these guys ever put out two killer classic albums with the debut album and this one or what ? WHAT A PHENOMENAL BAND !!! Beg, steal or borrow but get your greasy melodick rock hands on these two albums.

From: KISS Date: June 11, 2005 at 3:25
I don't like this album at first but after listening it a few more times, i think this album is very good, better than warrant's cherrie pie or slaughter's stick it to ya!

From: KISS Date: June 11, 2005 at 3:29
Problem is, this album got some very good songs that i like while it also got some awful songs which i dislike. The hightligh songs from this album are definitely 'don't blame it on love' and 'beat the bullet',both a meldoic hard rocker with fantastic guitar solos in them. I like the guitar intro of beat the bullets especially. 'crazy nights' and the title track are have good sing along catchy choruses that always liften my mood. The power ballad i still think about u(a mix of warrant's heaven

From: KISS Date: June 11, 2005 at 3:35
and bon jovi's wild is the wild/i'll be there for you) and find your way back home are also good. Puupet shows is a nice instrumental but apart from that, the other song(slow tempo songs like evrybody want some, slippe her the bigone) are fillers. 'yaeh, you want it' is definitely the worst song here with those stupid rap chanting. It is my least favourite songs here. Overall, this is a satisfying album that i like!

From: VinceK81 Date: September 7, 2005 at 18:01
'Screw It' has to take the NUMBER 1 spot in the DD collection. This album is pure sex, sex, and rock 'n' roll. The songs RIP, the guitar is SMOKIN' and Poley has such a distinct style. Not to mention the light keys that MAKE this album. 'Horny SOB' is so fucking powerful. KILLER!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: Nelson Date: October 6, 2005 at 9:37
Guitar wise,Timmons really made a night and day difference if you'll compare this to their first album. A guitar virtuoso indeed, is this man. But sadly, I have to agree with the comment(s) of QUEIFER. This band is as By-The-Number as you can get. MUST-HAVE IN A HAIR BAND ALBUM: Overly sleazy lyrics, acoustic-intro power ballad, I'm-Going-Home song, Enjoying-a-Dangerous-Life-as-a-Teen anthem. WOW, they really got 'em all, alright!

From: Nelson Date: October 6, 2005 at 17:33
Sorry about the By-The-Numbers comment, DD was indeed a unique hair band. Done things that haven't been done before by other hair bands. Was really ahead of their time. Just listen to the ballad 'I Still Think About You', I think that is/was the most unique power ballad that I heard. Wow.

From: Axe-Machine Date: February 5, 2006 at 19:09
I can't imagine life without this record...probably in my all time top twenty. Everybody Wants Some is one of the best rock anthems ever written, and Beat The Bullet is also amazing. But the album on the whole is brilliant. Anyones record collection without this one currently has a gaping hole...go fill it! Essential.

Anybody out there finds 'I Still Think about You' intro veeery similar to Poison's 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn'?

This is one of the few C.D.'s that I literally threw in the garbage. To give you an idea of my standards, I still have my Bang Gang and Wild Boyz C.D.'s. I felt uncomfortable listening to this album in the privacy of my own bedroom. Where a song like Warrant's 'Cherry Pie' is fun, and a movie like Wayne's World is funny, this album is just stupid. D2's first C.D. was o.k., they just seemed to put more effort into fitting every '80's hair band' gimmic into this C.D. than on the music.

From: metalmaniac777 Date: March 19, 2007 at 14:20
Trading the keyboard-heavy sound that dominated their debut for a more rockin' vibe, D2 deliver one of their best albums with this outing. Unfortunately, too many fillers interrupt the flow of the CD, meaning you'll hit the Skip button more than you may like, but what you'll be skipping to are some truly great melodic hard rock songs with massive hooks, catchy choruses, and big vocals. Any 80s hard rock/hair-metal fan should consider themselves well & truly screwed if they don't own this gem.

From: aorfan Date: August 29, 2007 at 15:40
Still AWESOME, toughened up their sound a bit for this one but the songs with those glorious hooks are there in abundance, Timmons playin is awesome as per, and Ted is just a god, what a voice. One of the best melodic hard rock albums period, even today ;-)

From: the rocker Date: December 26, 2007 at 15:26
the thing that sucks is having to get all these great cd's all over again, cause i had them all on tape. the thing that amazed me the most is ,.i found this in a used cd store. who in there right state of mind would get rid of this masterpiece. i have to admit, i don't like every song here, but the ones that are great make up the difference big time.self-titled is also a masterpiece, aswell as cockroach.

One of all time favorites ! This album rocks from start to finish. I wish Timmons had not left the band as he is a killer guitarist. This album really shows Poleys range as well. These guys even show their funny side with Yeah You Want It which is funny as all get out !! They should have been bigger than they were but just like so many other bands the label did not push them very hard. This is a must have album !! 93/100

From: Zoner Date: July 30, 2008 at 10:50
Poor songs and a rather disappointing effort. This is what happened when you turned your back on AOR. They couldn't keep on with this release and people get tired of them very quick. This is not your AOR "self-titled debut" this is boring hair metal in the vein of Warrant. Do yourself a favor stay away from this disc as possible you can you will be disappointed if you liked their debut!

From: metalhead4life Date: March 5, 2009 at 19:58
I like it as much as the debut for sure and mayb even a bit more; very good and consistent 80's style glam rock; contains the awesome "Don't Blame It On Love" and also the beach vibe rockin' "Crazy Nites". This one needs to make its way in to your 80's rock collection for sure. Great disc 87/100.

From: rockhardrock Date: April 13, 2009 at 18:14
debut album is great and with this one is the same. great melodic hard rock/hair metal that we all love-i hope. they rocked hard and made great ballads. my favs: Monkey Business, Beat the Bullet, I Still Think About You, Horny S.O.B. and Find Your Way Back Home

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: April 14, 2009 at 9:19
Screw It! is a heavier release than the debut, with more guitars and less keyboards. Andy TImmons gets to tear it up in places, adn at best, Danger Danger put forth a fun, carefree, summery vibe. The lyrics are one cringe after another, though. "Oh yeah, we can do it all day, do it all night, oh yeah, ain't gonna stop 'til we get it right," is just the beginning. Still some good songs anyway, including "Monkey Business," "Slipped Her The Big One," "Get Your Shit Together," the admittedly stupid but fun "Everybody Wants Some," and "Coming Home." "I Still Tink About You" is a decent ballad with kind of a disappointing chorus. And the joke track "Yeah, You Want It" shows the band not taking themselves too seriously, and ends up working.

From: WookieEnthal Date: July 10, 2009 at 1:49

From: Blue Monday Date: August 25, 2009 at 7:18

From: JamesEagle Date: October 21, 2009 at 18:01
Can't believe what a drop in quality this is after the debut. They've gone for even more 'fun' sounding songs this time, but the amazing, original, catchy tunes of the first album are gone and replaced by generic rock songs with lots of shouting. The only highlight is the Enuff Z'Nuff impression in 'Yeah You Want It', which is hilarious and alarmingly good. I'll never play this again. This is all about opinions and most disagree with me, but it's just about the songs and I don't hear any good ones here. A terrible shame.

From: DanDare Date: October 23, 2010 at 8:10
This is an excellent album of melodic hard rock and a lot of fun. Someone else described 'Slip Her the Big One' as mischievous, which is probably understaing it a little. Downright vulgar would be a better description but that's not to say it's not a great track. Fortunately, all the songs avoid the cliche of the era which was to go pedal to the metal for forty minutes, stopping only to chuck in a ballad third song in and a mid tempo number a few later, just to show that they were sensitive souls really and in a vain attempt to get a hit (see Firehouse, Slaughter, et al). With this album Danager Danger avoid that and introduce melody and a warmth that other bands forgot about.

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: October 25, 2010 at 10:45
Yeah, DanDave, they waited until the fourth song for the ballad. Seriously, I don't see them avoiding ANY cliches here.

WEAK! Only awesome ballad "I still think about you" rocks here.

From: edwithmj Date: January 16, 2011 at 20:34
Not as good as the first but still easy to get into. Beat The Bullet is one of their best songs while I Still Think About You, Crazy Nites and the wonderfully mellow Comin' Home make this a keeper. This one was a bit more "glam" than the last and the lyrics are a bit more risqué. 9/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 17, 2011 at 21:24
Mixed impressions especially in the last comments..for the giys who think this is a bad release...c'omon guys this ain't that bad ,obviously i respect your points of view...IMO this is edgier than their debut but still quite good..."Slipped Her The Big One" is excellent by all means,"Beat The Bullet" is a very good Hard AOR track,"Get Your S**t Together" rocks pretty good,"Crazy Nites" is another hot shot,"Don't Blame It On Love" is catchy & the milestone ballad "Find Your Way Back Home" is one of their best emotive softies...anyaway a matter of tastes but i would recommende this album eyes closed...92/100

I love Danger Danger and the debut is awesome, but this one felt like it had a little more balls to it. It has my favorite D2 song on it, Don't Blame It On Love. With other great tracks like- Beat The Bullet, Slipped Her The Big One, Monkey Business, Crazy Nites, Every Body Wants Some, & the awesome ballad I Still Think About You. They actually progressed even more for me with the should've been follow up COCKROACH, that cd is a 99% for me. Just awesome! I recommend all 4 with Ted on vocals!

superb suite after their sensational first record.ok we have to do the housework cause it s recommanded to eliminate all the very short songs ?and "yeah you want it"(a rap song!!!!).they have absoluty no interest.the rest is really excellent and varied with two beautiful ballads.it s a top class hard u s album who give you the desire to dance and to stamp one s feet."don t blame it on love " is a real hit.the others songs are irrésistibles.i recommand the french reissue from bad reputation with one bonus track (a very average rock song) and a second disc"down and dirty live"(5 tracks).

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: September 18, 2013 at 16:33
Somehow, Danger Danger have overcome their beginnings as a third-tier hair band not taken seriously by hardly anyone at the time, to being the princes of the melodic-rock scene. Well, good for them. I said it's not a bad album, and I mean it, but ... when this was released in the fall of '91, songs like "Monkey Business," and "Don't Blame It On Love," and "I Stilll Think About You" (a very average, G-D-C ballad) already sounded dated. I'm not talking about grunge, even though I first heard "I Still ThinkAbout You" on the way home from the mall where I'd just bought Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger in February of '92. You put Screw It! up again other '91 releases like Slave To The Grind, Psychotic Supper, Hollywoood Vampires, or even something like the Black Album, albums by Danger Danger's contemporaries, and it's cllear these guys were stuck. I couldn't see it as a kid, but in hindsight, these guys got left behind because they were three to five years too late.

One of my most favourite albums during my studies in the early 90s. Really nice memories and really nice heavy rock in vein of image-alike bands Warrant, Southgang or Slaughter. 1st class ballads and Andy Timmons' perfectly responsive and efficient/purposeful guitar work (the similar great job like Warren DeMartini did on "Detonator" - IMO). However, I can't give the highest rating because of #13 which changes the whole (after)taste of the album for me. And unless I like one song at least, my rating won't be higher than 90. 90/100.

This album has live drumming (s/t was programmed I read Ted mention) with awesome sound too, great mix by Erwin Musper. Just What The Dr. Ordered is one killer bonus track, should have been included on all versions, a great feel-good rocker! Yes, includes a couple of real fillers in the end, but still 11-12 fine songs before that. Beat the Bullet is one of the best songs they ever wrote, should have been a single!

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: May 4, 2021 at 13:55
During the interview portion of the expanded edition of Symbol Of Salvation, the guys in Armored Saint talk about the video for "Last Train Home," and how it lost out to Danger Danger on Headbanger's Ball, whatever that segment was where they played two videos and people voted on which one they liked best. I'm thinking it must have been "Monkey Business." This surprises me; there must have been lots of tits in the video. I could hear a song like that, or the "Pour Some Sugar On Me" copy "Everybody Wants Some" being big hits in about '88, but in 1991, a certain other song of the same name really made this sound outdated.

From: MelodicMetal4Ever Date: June 11, 2021 at 17:48
