I think the comparisons to Yngwie are deserved,as Johnny Ohlin's guitar style is very much in the style of said Mr. Malmsteen. The band's overall style is a mixture of prog, hard rock, and you could even classify some of this disc as melodic metal. There's nothing overly orignal or innovative here, but this is indeed a good cd. Tracks 2,3,4,8, & 9 are my favorites, with "Hang 'Em High" (probably the most melodic/mainstream tune here)being my favorite. Not bad at all!

I'm about to ensure 100% of the reviews here mention the Malmsteen influence because it is as obvious as can be. This dude could be Malmsteen for all my ear is worth, so if you dig him track this down. Other than the guitar these guys are also quite a good, solid and heavy band. Some cool melodic tracks too. Good stuff.

This cd in my collection pulverize a big quantity of Malmsteen’s discography.Everything here is close to perfection, powerful riffs, great and original hooks, keys arrangements and especially the singer.Mr.Goran Edman try to learn singin from Isac Isacsson please!

Yep Very good HardRock/Melodic Metal album and Johnny Ohlin is just great here(better than Ynwgie for me). Great solos and riffs. Not as solid album as "Without remorse" but this one is very Recommended. 8.8/10
