After the 2 excellent 'Zappacosta' & 'A-Z' releases Zappacosta goes down a more MOR route - although this is still excellent throughout. I could listen to this guys voice all day (i even bought his jazzier cd's 'Innocence Ballet' 'Dark Sided Jewel' and his excellent new 'Start Again' album). This may not appeal to the heavier rock fans out there, due to the range of the material, but for those with an open mind and an appreciation for fabulous musicianship, you won't go wrong with this.

I have to disagree with Jez once more. Zappacosta is another case of 'very overrated third rate artist'. I'm very sorry, but the man has not one memorable album released. Very poor stuff, if you ask me !

From: Oliver Date: August 2, 2004 at 10:03
That´s right, overrated releases. Nothing important, very average AOR.

From: rocketron Date: August 2, 2004 at 10:39
Poor 3rd album. The one to go with is the compilation "Over 60 Minutes With" which contains tracks off his first 2 albums plus Surrender material.

From: Alfie Date: August 3, 2004 at 5:20
Jez, they don't understand this ;-) This record is awesome. Perfect catchy Jazz-pop AOR. Zappacosta sings fantastic and the drumplay is outstanding. One of my favorite records ! BTW Both Surrender are now released on CD.

This is the best cd from Zappacosta with no discussion. I have to say that this one is one of the best cds from Canada. I´m an absolutely fan of this man. all his music is gold.

I found this one a very relaxed album..Westcoast & AOR but basically Westcoast/Lite AOR i'd say..."Letter Back" a pleasant track,"Nothing To Do With Love" is a highlight,"Simple Words To Say" is pretty nice,"Good Intentions" also another highlight,"The Only One" nice & smooth,"I'll Be The One" the 3rd highlight & "Worries Away"...guess what???...another highlight! ...his debut album is the one you have to look for first..you'll notice how different are both...this one???..interesting...nothing much...85/100
