One of the best Yngwie Efforts ever. Its a must own. Nothing beats Risin' Force, but this is close.

From: Chris Date: September 3, 2001 at 17:39
This is the first disc between Yngwie and Mike Vescera. After Goran's vocals this takes some getting used to but is just as exquisite. A must own for any Yngwie or melodic metal fan.

From: WhiteLion Date: September 20, 2001 at 9:47
I agree with u Stu One of Yngiwe's best albums. Great great songs. Strong vocals. But I still think Vescera is the worst singer on a Yngwie album yet not a bad singer at all!

From: Dragonfly Date: December 15, 2001 at 9:36
I agree with WhiteLion. Mike's vocal abilitys take some time to get used to. But just like a tree, each branch is alittle different. So this is a different branch with it's own leaves I guess. Still I like any of the Vescera stuff too.

From: RainStar2k Date: March 3, 2002 at 23:22
Heavy without being muddled or bogged down, this album smokes. Vescera sounds superbly angry and who said Malmsteen plays with no emotion? I can definitely feel the heat from his rage here on "Hairtrigger", "Never Die" and the smokin "Crash and Burn". The ballads kill too with the lovey duvy "Prisoner of Love" and "Meant to Be" plus the pointedly "Sorrow". One of my favs ever.

From: JoseM(Spain)Sev Date: July 30, 2002 at 10:57
This my 2nd favorite Malmsteen CD, has a couple of big clssics heavy songs, but Mike Vescera tried to sound like Jeff Scott soto in Marching out, but Mike couldn't do it better than Jeff. ( sorry for Vescera's fans )

From: Zakar Date: August 26, 2002 at 11:22
who's said mike vescera singing bad in this CD? i don't agree! he is one of the best vocalist in the world. his voice make this album better and better. this is my fav yngwie album.

From: CHIRO Date: April 8, 2003 at 21:37
MIKE RALLY KICKS ASS...HE HAS A BEATIFULL VOICE...I THINK THAT HE MADE THIS ALBUM SOUNDS SO POWERFULL

From: Dani Date: June 1, 2003 at 15:04
I think this is the best one. Michael Vescera sings better than ever, and the songs are really good.Pure quality.

From: RR-Finland Date: August 28, 2003 at 5:59
Never Die and Seventh Sing are the tracks what keeps this record so good. Bluesy Yngwie has never got into me very much and Forever One is one of those love songs, what I usually skip when I wanna listen some good love song.

From: Scandi Date: September 25, 2003 at 20:50
"Brothers" alone make this one worth the buy

From: Elton Date: October 16, 2003 at 13:43
Mike Vescera ganha de Goran Edman, definitivamente!Mas o que mais impressiona nesse álbum é a performance de Malmsteen!Menos romantismo, mais "power",faz desse álbum algo fora de série!

From: Rycheage Date: August 13, 2004 at 22:25
Mike Vescera is more of a metal voice than Goran Edman, and the songs quality here shows that distinction. "The Seventh Sign", "Never Die" and "I Don't Know" absolutely shred. Vescera's vocals work extremely well on "The Seventh Sign". The only drawback to his voice is the inability to deliver a ballad effectively. Very good CD nonetheless. 8.0/10.

From: khiitz Date: August 31, 2004 at 19:11
Can't find the album in shops anywhere although i have heard some of the tracks on live albums and DVD's, i guess ebay is the way

From: Dean Date: August 31, 2004 at 20:02
"Pyramid of Cheops" is a total classic on this one. That song easily ranks as one of Yngwie's best. Haunting and atmospheric.

From: Christine Date: August 31, 2004 at 20:52
Khiitz, you can get it at www.nehrecords.com.

From: Geoff Date: September 1, 2004 at 2:21
'Hairtrigger' is awesome melodic metal. The rest? Pretty average, but decent hard rock as you'd expect from Yngwie.

From: Propane Date: November 30, 2004 at 18:38
The first time I heard this I thought someone snuck up behind me and knocked my teeth out with just one punch. I later realized I was listening to yet another great work of music by the Maistro.

From: Andrew Date: December 20, 2004 at 19:10
like every work of Yngwie, this album is so impecable and powerfull...this one shows us a deep as also a sentimental Yngwie.

From: Blancothor Date: February 2, 2007 at 13:43

From: Aorforever Date: March 7, 2007 at 17:55
I love ''Prisoner of your love''.

From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: October 29, 2007 at 13:05
HUGE CD 97/100 AMAZING POWERFUL NEO CLASSIC MELODIC HEAVY METAL at his best ! In a bad time for HEAVY music this one was like an oasis in the desert of grunge/crap MUSIC ! Like always a very good line up and the need to be HEAVY/MAJESTIC and to fight against the whole world like a true VIKING MIKE VESCERA(exOBSESSION/LOUDNESS later with DR SIN/MVP/reign of terror/SAFE HEAVEN/PALACE OF BLACK/R.GRAPOW) one !MIKE TERRANA(exBEAU NASTY/KUNI later with METALLIUM/RAGE..)were very good on this

From: metalhead4life Date: December 16, 2008 at 11:12
Oh yeah, this one kicks ass!! Mike Vescera has a good metal voice and is a very nice fit here. Harder edged Melodic Metal songs than some of his previous albums and has two good ballads-"Forever One" which is fantastic and "prisoner Of Your Love". Not much else really to say as if you're familiar with Yngwie's catalog, this is a good one to have and kicks ass. 88/100

From: marianorobrock Date: April 24, 2009 at 18:22
OH MEN, MIKE VESCERA, EDMAN AND LEVEN ARE BETTER THAN SOTO, AND EVERY OTHER SINGER OF MALMSTEEN,SOTO DOES NOT LIKE ME.this is one of the greats works of malmsteen maybe with facing the animal

From: crashdiet1313 Date: June 11, 2009 at 23:27
One of Yngwie's best albums... the title track slays.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 7, 2014 at 20:24
Brutal album by all means!!!...powerful,direct,solid...great vocals by Mike Vescera and great technical playing by Yngwie (not to mention the mighty Terrana on drums and nonetheless talented Oulasson on the keyboards)..."I Don't Know" is my fave track of the album but add to that tracks 1,3,5,7,9 & 11...highly recommended record...95/100
