Another standout disc from Yngwie and Mike Vescera. The motion just flows from song to song with "Vengeance", "Voodoo", No Love Lost" and "Tomorrow's Gone" being the standouts among a disc full of great classics. This is a MUST OWN!!

What the man above said!

From: Motley Date: October 29, 2001 at 11:24
Totally Agree!!!!Along with Eclipse/LIVE in leningrad/7th sign along with this one, its the best Yngwie has ever done. I didnt like the old cd's but then I first got hooked the later years even though I gave them shots. Barry Sparks ESPECIALLy does an outstanding asskickng fingerpiece on this one. My fave bassist along with NIKKI SIXX/GENE SIMMONS and JARI KAINULAINEN of Strats.

From: Dragonfly Date: December 15, 2001 at 9:39
Another outstanding effort with Mike at the vocals. Even if he's not my favorite vocalist, he does a great job here.

From: Don Date: February 23, 2002 at 16:23
Can't say enough about this disc. Yngwie rules.

From: RainStar2k Date: March 3, 2002 at 23:18
The last cd that Yng did that was worth a crap. "Facing the Animal" was ok but "WTEAW" and "Alchemy"?? PuhLeeze... I got this during my "Malmsteen RULZE and is God" phaze thus I listened to it a million times (or so it seems) with good reason. Alot of great material is helped out even moreso by having a great vocalist sing it (the ever beloved Vescera). Of special note is "Tomorrow's Gone" and "Amberdawn", a song that solidifies a love forever...only that's not his wife anymore. Oops!

From: JoseM(Spain)Sev Date: July 30, 2002 at 11:15
Sorry Motley, I'm not agree with you, I think this is a great Record, but Marching out is the best of Malmsteen's works, and you can't compare Mike Vescera with Jeff Scott Soto, Jeff is much better as a Rock Singer, Jeff can Sing any Rock style as: Heavy-Metal and AOR, Melodic-Metal. there's a huge distance bewteen Jeff and Mike. ( However this is the 3 best CD after Marching out and Seventh sign )

From: JoseM(Spain)Sev Date: July 30, 2002 at 11:28
Hey Motley !! I you still thinking I'm wrong, listen the song "Gates of Babylon" from the Malmsteen inspiration CD, and you'll know why Jeff Scott Soto is better Singer than Mike Vescera.

From: Satans Child Date: November 23, 2002 at 13:55
Great album Great Musicianship. Its Yngwie. Nothing new. Nothing will ever top Rising Force though.

From: Motley Date: April 5, 2003 at 22:15
Hey senor espana, you have totally misunderstood me. I said I like this one very much.....but Im not into those hoarse voices as Sotos. Im into the ballsy screamers as vescara and thats why I dig him more.

From: CHIRO Date: April 8, 2003 at 21:42
ANOTHER INCREDIBLE RECORD YOU CAR LISTEN TO IT 10 TIMES IN A ROW...AND YOU 'D LISTEN TO IT AGAIN........ MIKE YOUR VOICE IS OUT OF THIS PLANET......I'M A SINGER THATS WHY I SAY THIS....

From: RR-Finland Date: August 28, 2003 at 6:18
This cd incl. one of my favourite Yngwie track, Vengeance. Better than 7th Sign was, but I never learned to like Vesceras voice. Donīt get me wrong (motley!), I like very much singers who screams like Udo Dirkschneider, but sometimes I feel like heīs singing it all wrong. By the way motley, Iīm very happy you like Jari Kainulainen as a bass player. From Finland doesnīt come so much this kind of melodic bands like Strato, so itīs always nice to hear that kind of comment.

From: Rycheage Date: August 13, 2004 at 22:30
Again the metal voice of Vescera works here. "Vengeance", "No Love Lost" and "Tomorrow's Gone" flow right into one another. Even Yngwie's playing is cohesive. High quality. 8.5/10.

From: Propane Date: December 2, 2004 at 21:52
Sounds extroardinary. Vescera has a beautiful set of lungs. Extremely strong musicianship once again, with the usual No flaws included.

From: Geoff Date: January 4, 2005 at 6:33
One or two tracks I didn't mind, but once again a lot of filler. Not one of my fave Yngwie releases, but not one of the worst.

From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: October 29, 2007 at 13:32
GOOD CD 97/100 POWERFUL NEO CLASSIC MELODIC HEAVY METAL at his best !Like always a very good line up BARRY SPARKS (G.BELLAS/T.MACALPINE/SABU/GUY MANN DUDE/UFO/DOKKEN/TED NUGENTand the great ARTENSION)& SHANE GAALAAS (DIESEL MACHINE/G.HUGHES)they played both in MSG/COSMOSQUAD/V.MOORE/M.FRIEDMAN/ULI JON ROTH/J.WEST) MIKE VESCERA(exOBSESSION/LOUDNESS later with DR SIN/MVP/reign of terror/SAFE HEAVEN/PALACE OF BLACK/R.GRAPOW)was ok but not as good as his lifetime performance in '7th SIGN'

From: shoemaker Date: October 30, 2007 at 16:06
After this album I lost my interest in Malmsteens music, he lost his magic only repeats his self.

From: metalhead4life Date: December 16, 2008 at 11:17
Not as good as "Seventh Sign" but still a good album and I'd say worth having if you're a faithful Yngwi fan but if you're just looking to venture in to his stuff then I'd look for another album (his earlier stuff like Trilogy, Odyssey, or Fire & Ice. "Fire In The Sky" is worth the price of the CD alone and is the standout track on this one. "Vengeance" is also good but don't remember the others being too memorable. 78/100.
