If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Y CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Y are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Not the best band I have ever heard. They have a few moments.

From: TIM Date: September 4, 2002 at 23:15
I thought you had this one David. It's about half good. I'd got with Kim's recommedation and get Sateria. I'll listen to them again tomorrow and try to give you a band they sound like.

From: TIM Date: October 2, 2002 at 23:07
They kind of sound like a combination of Jackyl and Bon Jovi if you can picture that.

From: The Fizzy One Date: October 2, 2002 at 23:52
'Shemale?' Ooooooh! Jackyl and Bon Jovi? I'm having a hard time picturing that. That'd be sorta like combining old Def Leppard with ... well, new Def Leppard. Heh!

From: TIM Date: October 3, 2002 at 2:25
Yeah, they sound diffent. Someone may have a band in mind to help clarify.

From: Scandinavia Date: June 25, 2003 at 7:43
Hard to explain...A bit sleazy at times but obviously trying to sound different...Closer to Jackyl than Bon Jovi! Well, anyway it ain't great stuff but okay at times...I'd tend to compare them to modern DAD stuff but that's a bit farfetched as well...Only have this CD because it was recorded in my hometown & produced by Helloween producer Tommy Hansen...Just to get it right: It doesn't sound like Helloween! Raw guitar, Awkvard compositions and emotional vocals. All in all different!!!

Just remembered some lines of the best track on the album called 'Eagle': 'Got no religion but I got faith I'm a hard working man...' can't remember more! Haha it just kinda stuck in my head...By the way Yenz Cheyenne once sang in 'Brats'(incl. King Diamond) and was the original singer in 'White Lion'. Hal Patino played in 'King Diamond' & as far as I recall Tony Nemisto used to play in 'Europe'...Am I right?

From: TIM Date: August 10, 2003 at 12:17
I don't know. Some members of Geisha were in this group right?

From: Scandinavia Date: August 10, 2003 at 13:31
Yes, Yenz, Tony & Hal were all in GEISHA....The early formation of GEISHA also included Pete Blakk & Mickey Dee (Both of KING DIAMOND)...But any connection to PUSH except for maybe being friends is unknown to me...

European sleaze rock with better musicianship than most but not enough memorable hooks. Decent. 6.5/10

From: Motley Date: December 18, 2003 at 9:21
What a long band name.....

From: Japangea Date: May 21, 2006 at 11:16
This is Guns N'Roses meets T.Rex in sound.Actually Oliver Steffensen did not play in this album as he was in Freak Of Nature at that time but so what, this is one of best Danish Hard Rock albums.Once it was scheduled to release in Japan as well but it was cancelled by unknown reason.Maybe Mega Records(=Y='s label in Denmark) was TOO busy to sell Ace Of Base and noone did not care about this band.

From: z4roxx Date: November 5, 2006 at 11:11
This is better than their ep who I’ve consider decent but not so good. This full length is spectacular.Great street/glam well played with original arrangments and interesting melodick lines.I think I must recommend it for all fans of this kind of music.

From: Japangea Date: February 25, 2008 at 10:10
This one was released on vinyl as well and it's worth owning as the cover is great to have one larger.

From: andi Date: December 25, 2010 at 6:39
not the best band?Oh god you have no idea about real good hardrock!!Similar to bon jovi???Laughing without end!!Never! There´s nothing about bon jovi but if....then bon jovi´s"If i was your mother"!!JACKYL??No way! There´s nothing about JACKYL because Jackyl IS SIMILAR TO AC-DC but not "Y"!!!!

From: andi Date: December 25, 2010 at 6:45
People the correct bands with good music down to make and should have no idea of good hard rock Comment on bands are rather let! How to band a brilliant hard rock such as "Y"with Bon Jovi compare this is stupid absolute! Bon Jovi is pop against this album ... I could compare with the same metalica bryan adams!

From: hair metal again Date: June 25, 2015 at 8:34
Superb hard rock release by Y back in 92 with their sound being somewhere between ELECTRIC BOYS ,EXTREME or ZODIAC MINDWARP and the vocals strongly remind me of BRIDE s Dale Thompson!the musicianship is truly amazing ,the approach extremely hard rockin and groovy and the only thing i d change is to have som more catchier choruses!anyway this is a must have indie
