What a shame to see no comments. This deserves a re-issue and is a killer lesson in US melodic / commercial hard rock. 'In your eyes' is a sensational track, 'One summer night' a beautiful ballad, 'Loving you' is one of my favourite tracks of all - chilled me then, chills me today. An album highlight and perfect melodic rocker, and 'I'll be the one' and 'Walking out the door' are gems too. Basically, this is well played commercial hard rock with some killer tunes. Recommended.

Hey Geoff, If you click the top album cover (the blurry one there are a lot more comments. But I for one know what you mean. and I think your comments are right on the money.

If you like good Rock dont get this the first track (rap for crap sake) says it all. The first 3 tracks are dire after that hmmmm they get a bit better track 10 (Walking The Dog) is good but dont pay loads for this CD trust me...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

Splendid commercial hard rock (or melodic metal, if you prefer that particular term) that's a bona fide bargain, given how cheap this is to obtain and how much musical bang you get for your buck. The production has that early 90s sheen all over it, sporting more sparkle than a jewelery store, bringing to mind bands such as Firehouse, Heavens Edge, Takara, Unruly Child, Speed, Zardoz, etc. In other words, if you love clean guitars, good hooks, memorable choruses, and slick backing vocals, consider this CD a gift from God.

Well now, most of the comments seem very favorable and I had to comment after seeing Mark's post. I agree with him, this is splendid commercial hard rock and the bands mentioned are very accurate in comparison. This was FARRCRY's 2nd release and just as good as the first one. They hard hitting and play excellent cranking hard rock/melodic metal........I will add the following bands for comparison.....Jillson, Warrant and Brass Kitten.

two or three excellent songs "in your eyes " is a real hit a killer song.the rest? hum.... it s very average.impossible to wake up in the night for a so mediocre realise like this.this record will not stay in the history of melodic rock.

From: hair metal again Date: April 28, 2019 at 16:13
excellent commercial hard rock music for FARRCRY with a very solid guitar driven sound and a certain ability in ballads and md tempos mostly!"i ll be the one","one sumer night " ,"loving you" and "cant bargain with god" are very good songs and overall a fine indie release that has also a slightly 90 s feel
