Other than "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" there's not much here. I hear the first release was much better.

From: JLPRocks Date: August 18, 2002 at 0:27
Excellent cd.... "Up N Cummin'" is a fantastic sleazy hard rock song that many an 80's band would have loved to put on their albums. Also loved the sound of the "Climb and Scream" intro that was the lead intro on the cd.I've used that same intro many a times to create cd samplers for others..nice. Other standouts include..Get off Your Rocker and Fraulein.. Their sound is reminiscient of Black N Blue and the heavier version of Warrant.. This cd rates at least an 8 out of 10..

From: JLPRocks Date: August 18, 2002 at 0:29
Their first cd doesn't come close to this release. The songs are poppier and the production is not as good either. Of course they were just teenagers on the first record.

this was one of my favorite cds that got lost in the fire...too bad, i remember 'face the music" as my fave song from the album..i hope i can get it again some day.. nitrodoll1974@hotmail.com

From: TIM Date: August 18, 2002 at 8:49
nitrodoll. I sent you an email at the address you left above. I'll let you have my copy for a good price. It's in great shape.

From: TIM Date: October 2, 2002 at 12:59
I pulled this one out again and I love it. It seems they got lazy on vocals in some areas but overall they stomp most bands in the ground. I love the axework.

From: The Fizzy One Date: October 22, 2002 at 17:53
"The Devil Went Down to Georgia," as rendered by Frontrunner, has got to be one of the strangest cover tunes I've ever heard, and certainly the weirdest since Nashville Pussy got their hands on Smoky Robinson's "First I Look At the Purse." Definitely a memorable song, and who was surprised that "fiddle" was changed to "guitar?" How fitting!

From: TIM Date: October 22, 2002 at 18:14
It kicks ass for certain.

From: JF Date: October 26, 2002 at 21:45
This band kicks ass. If anyone knows where I can get a copy of their "Without Reason" CD, please let me know! I have their other two already. I'd be willing to pay $100 or more.

From: TIM Date: October 27, 2002 at 10:24
Without Reason shows up on Ebay every now and then and goes for about $80. I know several sellers who could quickly get it. By the way, how good is that 3rd cd you mentioned?

From: JF Date: December 12, 2002 at 0:46
Tim - Just saw your response....I haven't been on here in a while. I loved the first release (self-titled). It is a little different style than Up N Cummin, but not too far off. It has a bit more of a mainstream/poppier sound, and is a little bit less sleazy. It's hard to find an original....I just have a CDR. I'll keep an eye out for Without Reason.....sure haven't seen it yet. If I ever see it on Ebay, I'll stop at nothing to get it.

From: TIM Date: December 12, 2002 at 2:31
I already have a cdr of "Without Reason." I wasn't overly impressed.

From: JF Date: December 13, 2002 at 0:35
Tim - If you're interested in trading CDRs, email me. I've been trying to get Without Reason for a long time. z7z7z7z7z@cinci.rr.com

I wasn't terribly impressed with this cd, or their first one. I am glad I picked them up for my collection but I am also glad I did not burn big bucks to get them, save your money on these unless you can get them reasonably, worth having at the right price.

From: tomcat Date: May 18, 2003 at 8:46
hey, i knew this album and i lost it, but recently i got it back and it's a kickass rock n roll album..do they have other releases..my favorite tunes are the party rocker 'face the music' and the fantastic ballad' search your heart' and the smash rocker 'money talks'..do you have info on them? batcave777@hotmail.com

From: Mattboy71 Date: May 19, 2003 at 18:59
This CD pretty good Glam Rock for 1994. Some Mr. Big like moments and a lot of Warrant. Some great ballads and big guitar. They have some nice melodies as well.

From: purrfect-kat Date: September 15, 2003 at 15:17
The only entertaining part on this cd is when you hear a rollercoaster at the beginning and end of the cd. . . Too bad it didn't run over the band because this cd is over-rated and not very good at all.

From: SeducedByMetal Date: October 29, 2003 at 9:54
i own both off these cd's..and i'd have to say that there 1st cd (Without Reason)i think is alot better..but saying that i also like this cd .. it kiks butt too...just alot happier with there 1st cd...picked the 2 cd's on ebay...weren't that expensive either...perhaps i was lucky...

This album is awesome, I would highly recommend it to anyone. It is, by far, their best one, but the others are great, too! Go to www.shaunandree.com and in the MUSIC section you can order all their CD's. I think this is one of the best rock CD's ever made, they should have had a major record deal.

EXCELLENT hard rock/ sleaze release here! As others have stated, their sound is very similar to a Black n Blue or Warrant, but you can hear the influence of many other 80s groups as well. "Straddle Dance" and "Up-N-Cummin" are two awesome sleazy rockers, and "Search Your Heart" is a great mid-tempo song, with a beautiful chorus....and yes, their version of "Devil Went Down to Georgia" kicks major ass as well. Highly recommended for fans of 80s style, sleazed up hard rock!

From: MJ (Marla) Date: April 18, 2004 at 23:56
OMG!!!! I LOVE the song "Roller Coaster".....SPLAT!!! LOL!!! "Search Your Heart" is a wonderful song!!! And WHAT a psyche-job on "Up N'Cummin" ... starts out sooooo beautiful.....great orchestration....then BAM!!! "Get Off Your Rocker" is in your face from the first chord to the final!!! GREAT STUFF!!!!

From: jessica96fish Date: August 31, 2004 at 11:33
good cd.only just got this.but from first listen.it sounds my sort of thing.worth having.

From: Geoff Date: August 31, 2004 at 20:23
I'm not really in tune with the rave reviews of this CD, though I do admit 'Search your heart' is a true gem of song. Elsewhere, it is excellently played hard rock and a very good album - I just don't rate in anywhere near the 9.25/10 at the top of the screen.

From: BIG-TIME Date: February 14, 2007 at 10:33
This for me is complete crap, no hook's NO big choruses at all Giant have big choruses but this no way. If you like none singer's like Bosse Lindmark, Jamie st.James, and Robert Ernlund you will like but I cant stress how much I hate this type of singing I struggled all the way through it. I just dont get this type of music OR singing Jeff Soto, Coverdale, Dan Huff, Steve Grimmett, Steve Lee yessssss this guy nope! AOR freaky get's shouted at but I understand why he's like that.

From: BIG-TIME Date: February 14, 2007 at 10:40
I'm the same with bad singer's like this guy what's the appeal it just sound's like PUNK ROCK and one dimentional. The music is OK the guitarist is awesome but wasted here can people give an i.e of singers and musician's instead of saying the album is good, paid a bit for this and will never be played again (though one for the collection) i'd give it 1/10...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: juan carlos Date: March 29, 2007 at 23:16
"Search Your Heart" con unos bonitos coros y buen solo. Buenos temas cañeros como "Straddle Dance" "Get Off Your Rocker" o "The Devil Went Down to Georgia".. En fin, Nada mal y Recomendable. 8/10

From: Alexxtcatz Date: October 17, 2007 at 14:07
"Up'n'Cummin" CD is hot as hell. One of the best american indie band.100/100.

From: metalmaniac777 Date: February 13, 2010 at 8:56
While I wouldn't exactly rate these guys at the front of the pack when it comes to sleaze-tinged 80s-style hard rock, they certainly deliver the goods in solid fashion. Sure, these guys never met a hair-metal cliche they didn't rush to embrace like a long lost love, but that was par for the course for many bands back in the day. What matters is that the guitars are right up in your grill like a pissed off bouncer, the vocals have that raw, sleazy vibe, and there are plenty of gang harmonies to satisfy those who crave such things. In other words, they crossed their Is, dotted their Ts, and pretty much nailed this particular musical genre. It might not make you cum, but it should at least give your ears a good tingle.
