Really good AOR stuff. Brickyard Road is the best Tribute song To Ronnie Van Zant. Also lets not forget 38 Specials 'Rebel To Rebel' and the Jimmie Van Zant Band's 'Ronnie's Song' Ahh family.

Sorry, James, I can understan that you like this CD, but this is not AOR, but more southern rock. For me a very averag piece of work. The real Van Zant is the seltitled masterpiece and that's pure, classic and brilliant AOR !! Listen to that one, dear David, and you'll never listen again to Brickyard Road. Guaranteed !!

looks like someone is trying to 'fix' the rating of this cd. Overall it is a good album around a 8.5.It has some really good songs like Three Wishes, Brickyard Road, Love Is Not Enough, Love Can Be So Cruel.....

The track Young Girls is a fantastic song. Like Van Zant.

Maybe some tracks should be described here as Southern Rock , but Love Is Not Enough is amazing, simply amazing AOR ballad

I enjoy listening to this cd. Song's like Brickyard Road, Three Wishes, Love Is Not Enough & Take Every Beat Of My Heart make this worth the price. The song Brickyard Road features some of the most awesome guitar solo work ever put on cd. I believe Dann Huff plays most of the guitar solo stuff on this cd.

It's not Souther rock believe me ! Pure AOR, with a blending sound of Jeff Paris and Jim Capaldi - Some come running album. In fact 'Love Can Be So Cruel' is very similar to 'Something so strong''. I also remember 'Love Is Not Enough ' was featured on melodicrock, as power ballad of the month.

I donīt think is southern rock but AOR with little american rock bits, and what AOR is! just listen Love Is Not Enough(awesome ballad with great solo)and Take Every Beat Of My Heart, these songs and title are excellent and deserves more rating,I said,9/10.

Pleasant album...agree with lalo r.o.c.k. about the sound of the album...it conserves some touches of VanZant(1985)album but obviously far from that masterpiece IMHO..."Hearts Are Gonna Roll" pretty good one,"Bad 4 U" catchy,"Love Is Not Enough" nice softy,"Three Wishes" my all time fave of this record ,"Party In The Parking Lot" rocks real good,"Young Girls" nice nice nice ,"Love Can be So Cruel" awesome & "Take Every Beat Of My Heart" awesome 2!!!...get it!.94/100

I remember the title track being very popular on AOR radio that summer, which is odd, because I haven't heard it one time since.

From: blackkblade5 Date: July 1, 2014 at 15:10

excellent release for JOHNNY VAN ZANT ,more on the hard rock side of things, as most of the albums back in 90!all the songs are pretty good, the sound is rockin and there s a certain feelgood vibe!of course you can find some great mid tempos like "love can be so cruel" and ballads like "love is not enough"!probably his best ever work
